I'm a California girl who has relocated to Boston for grad school. I'm loving living in the area its expansive selection of food, coffee, bars and entertainment. I also enjoy cooking at home, am regularly told that if I decided to change careers I will always have a place in the culinary arts.
I have recently developed a desire to improve my photography and creative writing skills; something about traveling brings it out of you. I had a blog when living abroad and am finding that I miss it horribly. Update: now the proud owner of a food blog (yes, i'm one of those people)! Perhaps I will provide the link under special circumstances.
I have a horrible travel bug and am somewhat of a nomad. I try to go somewhere new every year and have been very successful for the past 3 years! Last year, I randomly moved to Morocco for six months where I taught English. It was an interesting experience. I Also spent a semester in college living in Italy and have traveled much of the world (15 countries and counting), but there is always more to see.
My idea of a good night is in the kitchen cooking, wine in hand, dancing and singing to my Pandora!
I have no desire to be normal and every intention to be extraordinary!
I want to be an eloquent speaker!
I can't live without art on my walls!
I'm adventurous, optimistic, and practical.
I appreciate people (ahem, men) who take time for their appearance and are well dressed.
I'm an Anthropology geek (that's the only geek I can own). I believe our lives are made up of our prior experiences and those color our perceptions and "Man is an animal suspended in webs of significance he, himself has spun." -- Clifford Geertz
