My self-summary
Like most people, I don't fit into a neat definition. I'm easy going, very laid back. I love being outdoors and hiking, riding a bike, walking a park downtown or just having fun. Life is too short to get hung up on things.

I value opposing opinions and like discussions, I really don't mind differences of opinion. The other thing is, I look for the positives in things, I don't look for the negatives and the downside. I would rather look for blocks to build on and go with those instead of say, "nope, it isn't going to work." In fact, if I say something won't work, I'm most likely already trying to come up with a way something will work, just to prove me wrong.

I'm looking for a nice girl for a relationship.

I am creative, patient, and open-minded
What I’m doing with my life
Full time student, and full time worker. Tons of fun. I recently bought a bike, and I have been biking quite a bit and going to try to do a long ride at least once a week.
I’m really good at
I'm good at knowing the difference between "your" and "you're." And while we're at it, how about "lay" and "lie"? Or "there," "they're" and "their"? I see that on a lot of people's profiles that to message them, you have to know the difference between "your" and "you're." I'd contend that knowing the difference between "its" and "it's" is harder and thus, that should be the requirement. Maybe it's just that girls give up on a guy knowing that difference and will settle for the "your" and "you're." :) I will be honest, I don't have "lay" and "lie" 100% correct, probably closer to about 60%.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile. I am seriously known for smiling. My racquetball class Winter term 2010 nicknamed me Smiles. Found that out from one of the students towards the end of class.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Alexandre Dumas, Stephen King, John Irving, and anything not a school textbook. Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs was an awesome read! Reading Engineering books is just sooooo entertaining to read in spare time. I'm reading through the A Song of Ice and Fire series currently. Game of Thrones was a very good book.

I listen to quite a bit of different music. Some of my favorite songs are Beatles "When I'm 64", Creedence Clearwater Revival "Cotton Fields", Johnny Cash "Don't Take Your Guns To Town", "God's Gonna Cut You Down", Fear Factory "Millenium", The Damned Things "A Great Reckoning" and "We've Got a Situation Here", Mushroomhead "Inspiration", Bloodhound Gang "Mope", Soundgarden "4th of July", Nirvana "About a Girl" (used to be able to play it on guitar), and Naughty by Nature "Hip Hop Hooray." I would love to try to rap Hip Hop Hooray sometime. Same with Onyx "Slam." Faith No More "Epic."

Risotto is my favorite rice dish, I love Thai, Mexican, Italian, German. I make pretty good tacos, risotto, a family recipe called kroutbrot, and terriyaki chicken. The terriyaki sauce is made from scratch. There's a Greek Deli by me that I love to eat at too.

Princess Bride, Super Troopers, Eurotrip, Beautiful Mind, In The Name of the Father, Grandma's Boy, Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, Godfather, Serenity and Elf. And before I forget, I always forget about liking this movie except when I flip through and see it's on. Endless Summer 2. I'm not even a big fan of surfing or surfing music, but I love this movie.

TV shows: Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Titus, Firefly, Big Bang Theory (what can I say, I'm a nerd).
The six things I could never do without
My droid phone (awesome mp3 player and it records in high def video for when I am out hiking to waterfalls), being able to write without the left-handers hook, my sense of humor. Hmmm...maybe tacos, I love tacos.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What the future holds for when I finish my school. What I will do with my free time then.
On a typical Friday night I am
Nothing...just going to school, so I have Fridays free. Maybe get some friends to do something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm afraid of needles, so I don't have any tattoos or piercings. I don't care if you have them, but I won't get one with your name. That could be a negative to you, but how about the positive? I won't ever shoot heroin.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 28–35
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
you want to give a guy a shot. A nice guy that, sure, he might not be John Cusack from Say Anything, but still a nice guy. And really, what guy can live up to that? But, if your favorite color is blue, you might receive some blue tinted glasses and white roses for Valentine's Day. Or something along those lines of thought put into it. (Besides a mixed cd)

And you want someone to have fun with during the Summer. So much to do in the area.
