I am quirky, unexpected, and stubborn.

My Self-Summary

I am very independent. I do not want to be spoiled. I like a guy I can lean on and really be with, but who will back off when he needs to.

I sing, I dance, I act, I read, I write, I play sports (and follow them), I don't respond well to catcalls or groping or men whose eyes can't get above chest level.

Men with amazing voices make my knees weak. I love accents, especially Southern and Australian.

I love to play sports, and do all sorts of outdoor stuff, but I also very much enjoy a night at home with a good book or a movie.

If you smoke - I'm not interested.

If you do drugs - I'm not interested.

If you have a tendency to get jealous really easily - I will probably frusturate you beyond belief, as most of my friends are male.

I'm not zealously religious, but my faith is important to me. I'm open to other people's ideas, but I won't change my mind and I don't take kindly to mocking. If you mock my faith or my beliefs - don't expect me to answer you.

If you're looking for a hook-up or someone easy - it's not me.

I'm also German, Italian, French, Yugoslavian and British. I have therefore fought myself in every major world conflict - and won. It also means that although I don't drink very often, I can most certainly hold my liquor.

This sums me up pretty well...

"If I could share one thing with every student of mine, it would be: don't sing because it will make you famous, don't sing because you're amazing, don't sing because you have to; sing because it makes you complete, and because without your voice, you wouldn't know who you were."

What I’m doing with my life

I work 4 jobs.

Career is first for me right now, however, I do want to get married and I do want a family. If you don't want any of those things, I'm probably not worth your time.

I’m really good at

Figuring out other people's lives...

Apparently I give good advice.

Multi-tasking.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm extremely sarcastic, but in a good way.

I am the loudest shy person you will ever meet.

I tend to smile at people a lot - this is not an invitation to hit on me, I just happen to do it.

I have very little fashion sense and don't care.

I have a tendency to dance while speaking to people.... Usually tap and simple ballet...Most people ignore this.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a) The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, unabridged; anything by Moliere; The Redwall series by Brian Jacques; Les Miserables by Victor Hugo; anything by Shakespeare; anything by Bernard Shaw; Wicked by Gregory Maguire; L'Etranger; Les Jeux Sont Faites, The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley; Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk; Galmorama by Bret Easton Ellis; Harry Potter books (yes, I admit it) and a bunch more.

b) Chicago; Monty Python and the Holy Grail; Princess Bride; Pirates of the Carribbean (1 & 2); A Midsummer Night's Dream; The Pianist; Spaceballs; the LOTR trilogy; the original Star Wars trilogy; Amelie; Cyrano de Bergerac (the Gerard DePardieu version); Brokeback Mountain; Inside the Male Intellect; Mrs. Henderson Presents, Fight Club, Ray and I'm sure there are others I just can't think of right now...

c) The Last 5 Years; Songs for a New World; Aida; RENT; Evita; Wicked; Ragtime; Sweeney Todd; Into the Woods; Dirty Rotten Scoundrels; pretty much any Broadway musical; Linda Eder; Jean Pierre Rampal; James Galway; Metallica (the old stuff); Cecilia Bartoli; Carmen; Bryn Terfel; Die Zauberflote; Don Giovanni; Maria Callas; Barbara Cook; Bernadette Peters; La Cava (the musical); Mozart, Puccini; Liszt, Rachmaninov (especially the 2nd piano concerto); Tina Turner; Don McLean; Huey Lewis; BeeGees; "Oldies" in general; Eric Whitacre; Queen; Billy Joel; Taylor Swift; a lot of the 80's and 90's stuff

d)Cous Cous, Irish Blueberry Scones, jack & coke; white pizza; fruit; string cheese; and I'm a chocoholic. I'll try anything once, well, almost anything....

The six things I could never do without

1) My friends 2) music 3) books 4) theatre 5) dance 6) showers (at least not for REALLY long periods of time...)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Random things: whatever tends to pop into my head at the point in time when I can actually take the time to think about something other than what I should be focusing on. If that made sense, I'm surprised, hehe.

I also like to make up lives for interesting people I see on the street, like the homeless guy I saw wearing a sign that said "Tell me off, for $2." If I'd had two dollars, I would've given them to him just for making that sign, not gonna lie.

On a typical Friday night I am

Working, rehearsing, hanging out in my room, attending a show, maybe trying to find a good comedy club, reading, performing, hanging out with friends, or all of the above.

You should message me if

You actually have something to say.

You have some of the same goals and/or ideas that I do.

You know what you want to do with your life and are doing something about.

You understand that I will not put you on a pedestal, and I will not believe everything you say. I will hold my ground and you will need to respect that.
