My self-summary
I enjoy writing, video games, programming, and using Oxford commas.

Let it be known that, while I am a computer geek, I do not hate Microsoft, and I have no love for Linux (or the FOSS community, for that matter).
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently working towards a degree in computer science at the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
I’m really good at
Entertaining people. Sooner or later I will make you laugh.

I also have a really good memory, contrary to what my username may imply.
The first things people usually notice about me
As my friends put it "When did you get so tall?" I have very unobservant friends. I wouldn't consider myself THAT tall, but I am taller than average.

I've also got some pretty long hair, so people tend to notice that too. If you take issue with long hair on guys, well, I don't care. I like it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Stephen King's The Gunslinger is a wonderful book. A short tale introducing us to the world of the Dark Tower, and our hero, Roland Deschain. A wonderful blend of western, fantasy, and sci-fi, and a great introduction to King's magnum opus. (Also enjoy: The Witcher, The Dresden Files)

Repo! The Genetic Opera is an amazing film. You can't go wrong with a goth rock opera. Humorous in a dark way, and with catchy songs that will stick in your head for days. (Also enjoy: Speed Racer, The Princess Bride)

Twin Peaks was the greatest show to ever air on television. A bevy of intriguingly odd characters makes for entertainment no matter who is on the screen. If anything is an example of how making things up as you go along is a valid technique in creativity, it's this show. (Also enjoy: Breaking Bad, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dexter)

Aurelio Voltaire was the first musician I ever found that I enjoyed after hearing the song Brains! in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. The man is clever and has a wonderful voice. (Also enjoy: Amanda Palmer/The Dresden Dolls, Creature Feature, The Aquabats)

The Longest Journey is an incredible, and I hate to say this (that is a lie), journey through the lands of Stark and Arcadia. If any game is a shining example of how a game is capable of conveying deep stories, this is not it for only one reason: It has a sequel that's even more amazing. (Also enjoy: Psychonauts, Deadly Premonition, Adventure games)

Food: I like food. It makes me not die.
The six things I could never do without
1. Sugar. Caffeine is overrated.
2. An album by Aurelio Voltaire.
3. A computer with an Internet connection.
4. Books. Preferably books I'd like to read.
5. My awesome friends. I'd survive without the less awesome ones, but it would be more difficult.
6. My brain. Though a lack of it would make me a significantly less appealing target during a zombie apocalypse.
7. The creeping suspicion I may want a seventh item on this list.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Interesting ways to solve various problems in computing. Mostly in computer graphics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either playing games and chatting with friends, or writing code for some silly experiment that crossed my mind.
