Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I arrived in Galveston from Chicago a few weeks ago and recently
bought a home in League City I will be moving there at the end of
July and am super excited! Got a place on Clear Lake which means
lots of boat and Waverunner time. I truly couldn't be happier
except for not knowing anyone. Looking for a great tour guide who
wouldn't mind showing me around a bit.
So about me - I love music, concerts and our amazing city. Must
say, I enjoy the summer best (reminds me of my time in LA - but
like all good Chicagoans I came back). Comedy clubs are great - but
what's even better is finding someone who enjoys my sense of humor.
& has one too. What makes me unique?? Maybe that I've spent
quite a bit of time living abroad (China, Italy etc). After
climbing the corporate ladder for more than 10 years, All in all,
love my life and family. Like everyone else on this site, just
looking to meet interesting and compatible people.
I don't want an online relationship but I do want to get to know
more about you before I will be comfortable exchanging numbers or
meeting. I learned this the hard way and it is a mistake that I
won't make again. I hope you can understand and will respect that.
ALSO IF YOU ARE GOING TO MESSAGE ME PLEASE WRITE SOMETHING I CAN
RESPOND TO, SOMETHING MORE THAN JUST "HI" OR "HEY". Thanks
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting ready for the new house. Picking out new carpet and paint
and looking for a contractor for a small bathroom job. Not very
exciting but it has to be done.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, love to do it, especially for big groups. My job both my
former and my current, I am not afraid of hard work and do my best
work under pressure. I am good at meeting new people and making
them feel as if we have known forever.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile! I smile a lot and like to make people feel comfortable
around me. The other thing I hear a lot is my hair, yes I have long
(not crazy long) hair and I guess people like it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.) My family, both immediate & extended.
2.) Morning coffee.
3.) Cell phone but only because i'm a total news junkie otherwise I
wouldn't even want one.
5.) Laughter, good humor is "my drug of choice".
6.) A few special friendships.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Current events. I try to imagine myself in other people's shoes. It
keeps me grounded and reminds me how fortunate I am even on the
worst day. I am always a work in progress and spend time reflecting
on howI could have handled some things differently. I am constantly
working on being a better person.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
No such thing as a "typical" Friday night for me. Often I work,
sometimes I just relax, dinner with friends, whatever I feel like
doing but I just don't have a typical Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sorry but you have to earn that right.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have more to say than just "hi", "what's up", "how are you". If
you have a good sense of humor, consider yourself to be a
gentlemen, are ambitious, like to try new things, like to travel,
or simply because you think we might have fun getting to know each
other!!! I don't want something high pressure right away.
