What does a writer write about herself?
Lets see...
I started this site because I enjoy knowing new people and I have yet to find 'the one'. Though in all honesty, I do not think I will find such a person online. They say you never find it if you are looking. I would like to assume looking will not hurt and that if I happen across him when I'm not, then more to the saying.
All in all, this is more of a- "Hello world, how are you and show me what you are like..."

I love to love. Do photography, writing, and most other art forms.

I am from Dallas but moved to Colorado in October of 08'. It is wonderful here. Beyond wonderful actually. Complete bliss... A vacation every day.

I enjoy the outdoors and find it difficult to not want to make love to the mountains. I feel this way every day when I look outside... ;) Somewhat kidding on the last one... But only somewhat.

There are days that I am a recluse as others would call it. I just look at it as moments of much needed artistic realization. ;) Don't get me wrong, I lead a fairly balanced existence. I go out a few times a week, spend time with close friends, take photos of nearly any and everything, and always have a smile on my face. For someone who has led the life I have, you wouldn't know it. I love to be happy and make others just as happy. Over the years, I have worked hard to turn myself from a pessimist to an optimist. There is nothing harder than changing the way your mind actually processes... Well, with maybe the exception to trying to change the way someone else's works. That is an impossibility. You can try to help them along, but you can not change them. It's best not to try.

I am scared of very few things, one of those being monkeys. Youtube oliver the humanzee if you want to understand this fear of mine.

For now I will leave it at that and most likely update the 'self-summary' when I have more time.

Every once in a while I miss Dallas...
The things I'm missing most right now that I found there and not in Ridgway/Ouray are- Swing dancing, Blues dancing, a starbucks around every corner, barnes and noble, being near to civilization always, sky scrapers, the lizard lounge, my friends and family, and well taken care of roadways.
Things I would miss about Ridgway/Ouray are- New friends, new extended family, small community life and all the eccentrics that come with it, the mountains, clean air, being away from 'civilization', natural beauty, snow, the people (even the crazy ones)...

Everything has a give and take to it... I just love to live and learn along the way.

I have a year of school left to finish and won't be able to do so until I can pay for the final tuition.

Eventually I do want a family, a degree, rewarding career, and stable income. This will all come in time, for now I am happy with the getting there part.

Hm..... You tell me.

Books- I love most literature. Things like Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Illusions by Richard Bach, and Charlotte Brontte catch my eye. This list continues though.... Quite extensively.

Movies- Oh how I love movies... Boondock Saints and Fight Club are two of my favorites. Just ask I suppose. I have a wide array of them. In fact, I have a video also on my myspace about this. I would advise against watching it though, its quite long and not very interesting. Do so if you dare.

Music- Classic Rock, Rock, Alt. Rock, Jazz, Blues, 90's Country, and just about anything in between.

Life- its processes, people and their actions, sex, violence, compassion, death, love, and so on.
Oh, let me not forget the past and its affect on the future.

I also find myself considering the human mind and the actions that come forth because of it.. It all fascinates me. If I didn't have the urge and passion to be a fiction writer, I would go into psychology. Thus, I consider these things daily and love to people watch every chance I get.

Well, it's Friday and I chose not to go to the bar and welcome more drama and wasted moments there.
Instead, I am online and on this website while listening to Cream on my Itunes.

The days of the week are not specific to one action with me. If you want to know what I do at night when I do go out on the town, then here you go-
I will either go to the Switch Back Tavern, rock climb on Tuesday nights, eat out, go to Orvis, or spend time with my friends.
In Dallas I had a little more in the way of options. I would go to a few select clubs, bars, see friends, eat out, go to barns and noble, ice skate, swing/blues dance, so on so forth. Ridgway/Ouray is a little limited in such areas.

I'll admit most anything you ask, so ask.

Wait, I feel bad, I'll give ya' something to ponder.......
Things to know about me-

I have a major weakness for guys in glasses, with dark hair, light eyes, artistic types, and those that can use their mind for bigger things.

I love sitting in the sun, but love the rain and storms so much more. Storms always seem to fuel my artistic side. Think of me how you will, but precipitation will always be my favorite type of weather.

My favorite number is 22.

Favorite band is matchbox twenty.

Snow and Rain make me smile. My dad thinks I'm crazy because of this.

I write fiction, poetry, and just thoughts of mine on a regular basis.

I want a 'gentleman' not a thugg.

Bread sustains my life... People urge me to take vitamins because of this fact!

I sometimes, talk, laugh, or 'coo' in my sleep.
I think its weird, others seem to think its cute.
