My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m a walking contradiction.

If you now have Green Day stuck in your head we’re off to a good start. But seriously, I’m one of those people who like things on totally opposite ends of the spectrum. I’m really into sports. I play soccer and run marathons. I’m in several fantasy football leagues and can get very defensive of my teams. On the flip side, I regularly nerd-out. I will talk your ear off about how, if done correctly, global trade and exports are crucial aspects of international economic development, which reminds me, we really need to evaluate our policies on humanitarian intervention, and, you know, HAVE a policy on humanitarian intervention. I will also try to convince you of all the ways the Dems will sweep 2016.

I love to travel, but don’t get to as much as I’d like. I’m pretty adventurous and spontaneous – I love to eat fun/strange things, try new places, and go on adventures.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Not exactly sure yet... currently working at a fabulous think tank focusing on International Relations/Trade. At some point I'll go and get my Ph.D. in International Political Economy. This is all just filling time until I catch my big break as a rock star of course.

I was training for the Chicago Marathon (so I can qualify for Boston!) but got injured so I had to delay a year. Now I'm just resisting the urge to adopt a dog.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sports! Soccer and tennis to be specific. And running, but that's pretty easy - you just go.

Cooking - I use to intern in a restaurant kitchen
The first things people usually notice about me

I've probably made an ass of myself in some fashion... It's also something I'm really good at...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

-Pride and Prejudice (or anything Jane Austen)
-Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Anchorman, Pride and Prejudice
-Doctor Who, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Top Chef
-I listen to almost any music - depends on my mood
-I'll try any food once, but I LOVE clambakes (lobster, steamers, etc) Greek food, duck, really great red wine reductions, and pizza
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

My passport
My cell phone
My nook and/or my favorite books
Bourbon and wine (not mixed together obviously)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm going to have for dinner and whether I'm fully prepared for the impending zombie apocalypse.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Currently – putting off studying by watching bad TV and drinking wine, then putting off studying by cleaning my apartment (which never gets it that clean because I’m a couple of glasses of wine in), and then finally studying. Saturday is the night I go out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I didn't want to cook dinner or do dishes last night so I ate mac and cheese out of the pot.

You’re funny and maintain a similar balance between your inner nerd/jock. Or if you think we’d get along.

You think bow ties are cool.

If you’re in the District (or close enough via metro) and want to go on an adventure.

No need to email me if you’re just looking to hook up….unless my friends and I will enjoy mocking your message over brunch.
