My self-summary
Oi, thanks for stopping by. I really don't think anyone reads this stuff so I figured I'd keep it short and go with the "man of mystery" angle. I'm a laid back guy looking for someone laid back. If you want more details then shoot me a message. Take a chance.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to accumulate good karma.
I’m really good at
Playing Devil's advocate. No fun if there's no conflict.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite book of all is "The Stranger" by A Camus. Rounding out my top 5 (for now): "Siddhartha" - H Hesse, "Lamb" -Christopher Moore, "Darkness at Noon" - A Koestler, "Into Thin Air" - J Krakaurer, and "Of Mice and Men" - Steinbeck.
My fav movie is Dr. Strangelove. I tend to gravitate towards obscure comedies. I dig Wes Anderson's stuff (Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, etc.) and the Coen Brother's flicks (The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, and O' Brother, Where Art Thou?). Any time I'm flipping through channels and come across a John Hughes' 80s movie, I'll stop and watch. Random others: Pulp Fiction, Godfather I & II, Goodfellas, Bladerunner, The Shining, Clockwork Orange, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Life of Brian, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
TV shows: Family Guy, Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, Louie..,
I don't think there's enough room to list all the particular bands I listen too. My playlists are generally overrun with Indie Rock, Classic Rock, Punk, the Blues and random other stuff. Sampleing: Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys, Beatles, Zeppelin, Beastie Boys, The Kinks, The Clash, The Pixies, Spoon, The Strokes, The Exploited, The Damned, The Brian Jonestown Masscre, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Supergrass, Allman Brothers Band, Liars, Fugazi, Queens of the Stone Age, Wolf Parade, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, M.I.A., Public Enemy, N.W.A., John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Nico Vega, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Vampire Weekend, The Smiths, Those Darlins, Mr. Gnome, The Vaccines, Screaming Females, and ELO (yes I said ELO. so underrated!!) ...the list could go on and on.
I also listen to a lot of comedy podcasts on my phone. It helps make the work day bearable.
The six things I could never do without
Let's assume family and friends would trump all of these:
- iphone
- good, live music
- that dive bar
- self respect
- juicy ripe peaches
- a zombie apocalypse bug-out plan
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who put their chocolate in my peanut butter? What would I do for a Klondike bar? how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
On a typical Friday night I am
Devising a plan to conquer the world or maybe just watching a movie.

You're pretty laid back. You like to laugh or at least giggle. You can hold your own in a conversation and have an opinion. Plus you have a slight tendency to lean towards the dark side.
(I guess you would also have to believe the guy doesn't always have to make the first move. Step up!!)
