I'm independent, loyal and outgoing. My friends are gold to me. I like trying new things, healthy food, and building a creative life.

I teach Voice and Movement for Actors in theatre and film acting programs at three different schools in LA. I'm really enjoying my student's growth and watching them become more comfortable with taking creative risks as story tellers. I also teach Speech and Dialect Acquisition and Mask making and performance. The arts and craft part of mask making is really fun - it's great to get messy with clay, paper mache and paint and then build a character from it.
I know - my job is unusual :)
But I really love it.

I love Ted Talks and learning from podcasts, itunes U, The Nation, Mother Jones, O Magazine, and National Geographic.
Favorite movies: independent and international films, films and documentaries about our lives as lgbtq people. Recent faves include Albert Nobbs, Carnage, Pina (about Pina Bausch and her dance company), Bridesmaids, Hangover, Baby Daddy, classic films like On the Waterfront, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Norma Rae, Friday Night Lights, La Vie en Rose, Monster. Stories that are driven by strong female characters. Same goes for TV shows - Nurse Jackie, Big Love, Weeds, SNL, Amy Sedaris/Kids with Candy.
I like a smart sense of humor, zany, kooky, experimental art.
