I am eclectic, determined, and here.
My Self-Summary
*This profile is going to be redone, sometime soon.
My name is Taylor, and I need to explore. Truth. I'm strong and
confident. I value wit—a lot—and recognize the difference between
it and sarcasm. I'm open minded and will respect any solid opinion
you front. I'm introverted and independent, but like to let loose a
bit with friends. I'm a modest, respectful person. Wow, generic
much? I'll try harder.
I'm looking for someone who knows who they are. Someone who is
honest, smart, funny, sociable, and someone who knows what they
want out of their short life (ie- future oriented). I'm a
passionate woman, and I want to fall in love with my best friend.
Who doesn't, right? I'm mainly looking for friends at the moment,
but who knows what that could lead to. Also! If you watch football
or baseball that'd be great. I like it and love to go to games, but
can't seem to watch it by myself. I'm trying to learn more about
those sports. I already know about basketball and I hate soccer, so
ya know. Don't waste your time there :) If you like to discover,
well, perhaps we could learn some things about life and ourselves
together.
I'm a mediator and a meditator. I take care of who I love. I'm a
great listener, but would of course also love to have someone who I
could babble on to about my day.
Physical: I'm tall, reddish-haired, blackish-eyed, and
medium-footed. I have the figure of a real woman. No, that doesn't
mean I'm fat, but I'm not a rail either. You could just look at a
picture or two.
I'm a sucker for old-time radio drama, aired on Wisconsin Public
Radio late Sunday nights. If you are someone who sits back and
enjoys a Holmes, Dimension X, or a general suspense, hoo-boy!
That's just exciting. (Oh, and that "hoo-boy" is as down home as I
tend to get, so, you know). Ira Glass is my favorite to listen to,
by far. This American Life can entertain me endlessly. If you want
to sit in front of a fireplace and fiddle on your laptop or read
while I listen to my shows, well, that sounds just
picturesque.
I am going to learn how to swing dance, but I need a partner
first.
I am a member at Anytime Fitness, too. I love it. Elliptical-ing
until my knees ache while listening to some Eisley, Cake, or
O'Death on my iPod is my warm-up four times a week. If you know how
to take care of yourself, well, that is an instant turn-on. Anyway,
I'm so thrilled that there is an Anytime in River Falls!
Some of the wisest souls I've encountered are the most childlike.
That being said, if you sometimes feel the urge to hula-hoop, be
read to, and jump jive and wail to any genre of "boppin'" music,
you should contact me.
India, Tibet, Wales, Egypt, New Zealand, Chile, the Galapagos,
Turkey, and Iraq are calling. I will travel, I hope.
I write poetry and essays on life experience. I journal. I'll
share.
If you're a little vulgar, that's alright.
I'm not scared of much, especially not your porn habits. You don't
even know MY porn habits.
I'm very Irish, Scottish, and Welsh, though I contain my temper,
don't drink, and have no severe and calculated pride. I’ll slap
disappointment in the face with the off-hand side of my black
machete. Deliverance from ties should be celebrated and mourned, of
course. IE: I'm optimistic and need someone else who is, too. I
could not deal being with a negative person.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a student at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. I live
in the dorms and miss having my own bathroom and kitchen.
Sad.
My major here is Animal Science-Equine, and I will be using that to
become a horse trainer. I would also like to go to graduate school
for equine nutrition or something else related to my major.
Overall, I am thrilled with where I'm at right now- I love college,
though I can't wait to be done and actually start my career.
I’m really good at
Banishing awkward moments.
Reading
Writing, sometimes.
Taking care of those I love.
Riding horses (people tell me, anyway).
Communication and connection. This one is important.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Are those real?" I hear that question alot when people see my
tattoos, so I suppose that's something eye-catching. I'm tall for a
female, so there's that. 5'9''. If I'm in a crowd, people will
notice me watching people. Sometimes I get comments on how eyes are
"doe eyes." Not good around hunting season in Wisconsin. (That was
funny, right?)
Hopefully anything someone would notice about me would be good, or
at least interesting ;)

The Red Tent, Moral Disorder, and so many more.
Music:
I'm a fan of well put together
music. I have eclectic taste, and like at
least one artist out of every genre. I love talking about music,
and am fairly up on the scene in Eau Claire. The highlighted bands
are my current favorite
local ones. Oh, and if you know Chick
Corea's work, we should talk. Not as many people do who
should.
I listen to a lot, but some favorites are:
Neutral Milk Hotel, Cake, The Boy Least Likely To, Return To
Forever, Ani DeFranco, Joanna Newsome, Muse, Opeth, The Cure, The
Mountain Goats, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Of Montreal, Billy Joel, The
Beatles, Crosby Stills & Nash, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, The
Incredible String Band, Cranes & Crows,

Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The 9th Gate, Elephant, Pulp
Fiction, The Producers, American Psycho, American History X, The

work- of course, of course. I love documentary
films. Just watched an amazing one on
Jim Jones. (Don't joke to me about kool-aid. Good lord. I hate
that. Ask me why.)
If you are a filmmaker, I'm already intrigued. I'd watch any film
you have to share.
Also, the only TV I usually watch are these shows, and not all that
often: Buffy,
Firefly,
House, No Reservations,
Pushing Daisies, Top
Chef, Scrubs, The Office, National Geographic channel, and the
Ellen D show.
Food:
I like dark
chocolate mint brownies. Too
much. I love all fruit. Unless you consider a tomato a fruit.
Ethnic foods are amazing. Fast food and I don't get along too well.
The six things I could never do without
I think I could figure out ways to survive without anything
but:
Hatchet
Knife
Warm sleeping bag/blanket
Shelter
A bit of money
Means to make fire
If not, then I'm a sorry excuse for an animal anyway.
I know that's not six, and I'm guessing this was supposed to be
more of an introspective thing. This does give you a view inside
me, though.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Learning
Why I don't seem to like Minnesota, on occasion.
Society
Religions
Spirituality
Politics and World Affairs
Relationships
Friends and People
Poverty, and the concept of
Writing
Horse Training
Reiki/earth energy
Sex (Oh yes, I really do. I tend to read all about it when I'm
feeling deprived... Like these days. Sigh.)
Healing
Money (sadly- one has to pay the bills, yeah?)
Travel
Biology
Mythology
Painting
Goodbyes
Love
I spend a lot of time thinking about who my 'forever-love' will be,
and how happy I will be to have someone again. I think about the
future I will have with this person. I think about the friendship
that will be absolutely amazing. Take in my sap and appreciate it!
On a typical Friday night I am
Riding my horse, driving home to Chippewa, out enjoying myself with
friends, working out, preparing for a horse show, reading, or
watching House and Lost in my dorm.
It honestly changes about every week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Dear lord, I can't think of anything supremely private. Sometimes I
sing the "Free Credit Report Dot Com" songs in my car. Then I cry a
little, because, frankly, that's just sad.
I tend to be analytical with my emotions. Think before acting sort
of thing. I like it that way. It doesn't stop me from taking them
in and expressing them fully.
I've been told that I'm very emotionally intelligent.
You should message me if
You're intelligent and bored.
You think I'm the bee's knees.
You're lonely.
You want to go out to a local show with me.
You are craving some chai, and need a companion.
You want to share some art (any kind of art) you've created with an
unbiased soul.
You are not a man or woman who frankly(or 'unfrankly,' I suppose)
wants only sexual relations.
You were also raised on The Beatles, shag carpet, and chocolate
milk.
You are witty.
You realize spirituality and religion are different.
You ride horses, and(or) can talk to me seriously about
Hunter-Jumper, Cross Country Jumping, Dressage, Reining, Natural
Horsemanship, Team Penning, Cattle Work, Driving, Vaulting, or any
other discipline you hold knowledge of.
If you're a 62-ish year old woman who is single and looking for a
mate. I have a uncle, Robert, and he's looking for a lover. He's a
widower. He said I should post this on here for him, and in return
I'd get some inheritance when he kicks down. I would've done it
anyway, you know. He also said to find someone "gentle." He's
goofy, he loves being a grandpa, he adores his two grown sons, and
he's a very nice guy. So, ladies?
Or, if you've found a spelling mistake I need to fix. Please!
Thank you for reading the whole thing.
If your not nice to me, I have friends that have threatened to find
you. I'm so big n' bad ;)
