Where to begin? I hate these because they never really come close to describing who a person really is. I just recently moved back to the Twin Cities, but I did grow up here. I grew up in a hockey family from a hockey town, so I have hockey in my blood! I am having a great time exploring while I am not at work, and spending time with my family. I'm silly, quirky, mushy, and the biggest nerd on the planet and I am looking for someone who is ok with that. I like to rock hunt, and I also like to toll around the MIA and the Science Museum! (Seriously nerdy)I also like trying new things and exploring new places :). I would like to meet people with different hobbies than my own, so we can share and learn something from each other. I can change the oil in a car, the brakes, the thermostat and gasket, etc, (I had a REALLY crappy car once upon a time and had to learn how to do these things quickly.) I sling poi (I have the bruises to prove it) and harbor a secret desire to be a fan dancer in a burlesque show. I am very Passionate, creative, gentle open-minded, spontaneous, thoughtful and laid back. I love animals and really wish I worked with them. I am looking for someone who is as willing to learn as they are to teach, listen as well as they speak, and is willing to be still as much as they go and do. I am not afraid of who I am, and have really tried very hard to be proud of who I am, so I don't want to have to hide all that is ME, from a date, their friends or their family. I am very excited by the little things in life, I love to cook and bake, and I love to create things. I prefer the handmade to the manufactured. I heart camping and being outside, and exploring interesting places. I love tea, and climbing trees, and being silly, and laughing. I am a horror movie buff, I collect a few different comic book series, and I love pirates. I was a Derby Girl in Fargo and hope to be one next year here in the cities. Carl Sagan, Sally Ride, Vincent Price and Tim Burton are a few of my heroes. I love Rachel Maddow and Conan O'Brien, and Stephen Colbert. I am very passionate about my beliefs, but I strive to not belittle others for theirs, or throw my beliefs in anyone's face. I love my friends, and my family, and some of my best friends are people who have hurt me very deeply in the past. In a nut shell, I love to dance, and discover, and learn, and love.

Right now I am working at a restaurant downtown Minneapolis, but I am not passionate about waiting tables. I have a massage certificate, and I am saving money to get my insurance again so I can help people heal, instead of serving them lunch.

Being silly, daydreaming, being random and spontaneous... Finding creative solutions to problems, and turning random objects into art. I have discovered a nack for making delicious deserts. I have found I am also really good at picking up on energies, and people's emotions.

I laugh a lot. A lot. I actually had to send out a text and ask a few people what THEY would say about me... Here are some real answers.

I love books. I love to read, and absorb words. So, anything by Kahlil Gibran, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman... I love fantasy and sci-fi novels, Piers Anthony, Jean M. Auel, Orson Scott Card. COSMOS by Carl Sagan, and all of Wally Lamb's books. Stone Butch Blues, Making Gay History, and anything in a certain subject I am interested in.

I LOVE movies of all kinds. My favorites are horror movies, and Tim Burton movies. I also really enjoy watching old black and white movies no one else has heard of. My favorite movie of all time is The Nightmare Before Christmas/Goonies (I can't decide which I like the best so deal with it!). I love musicals, and action flicks, and I REALLY love old cheesy movies. Or cheesy movies of any age, because they are always a good time.

My favorite food would have to be ice cream, but I am really not picky when it comes to meal times. My roomies are foodies, so I get to try a lot of experiments :) I also like to experiment myself, especially in the realm of desserts!

I don't think there is a genre of music that I don't enjoy, it just depends on my mood. I can go from Bob Dylan, to Rob Zombie, to Beethoven all in a one hour span.

hmmm... I am not shy to answer any questions in person, but something about putting it into cyber space makes me a little leery. So ask me a question, I'll tell you no lie.
