I'm ready for spring how about you? I'm ready for more sunshine. I'm so ready for concerts in the parks, and arts and crafts shows. I'm ready for BBQ's. It's been ages sense I've felt hot sand between my toes. I miss deep conversations, and coffee out. I'm ready for a change.

Attempting to give back, I realized everything after age 40 is bonus years. I listed all my abilities and explored how I could best serve my community and still earn enough to survive. I decided to become an educator of some sort. So I ended up working for Portland Public Schools and have for the last 3 yrs. The pay is so low its almost volunteer work. I work with the special needs population as a substitute para-educator. I like the flexibility of my job. I like that I am giving hard working people a day off. It's really hard work, and honesty I have been looking for something else or maybe another part-time job. Other than my so called career, I sing some I'm exploring art, and I like to garden a little. I really have not had any burning unfulfilled desires. I do go to church and those questions were a little to cut and dried for my taste. Spirituality is important to me, and it's personal. My church is kind of on the "new age y" side. I'm not a "crazy Christian" but I do believe in spiritual connection. I also like the community I find at church. Otherwise I might become too isolated from others. That's the trick isn't it? Finding that balance between the right community and isolation.

This depends on the filters the person has in place at the time.
I think I haven't been doing too well in the first impressions dept. lately, and I'm not all that sure why. Part of me just doesn't care anymore about it.

I really like Rock-a-billy.
Guess I'll have to think about the movies, books and food later.
I do like Sci-fi and foreign stuff.
Movies, lately I like comedies, I want to laugh more.

That first cup of coffee in the morning for sure. Family of course, and community. A safe home, I do like my car. That's 5 are you my 6th?

Well that's just it, I don't think I do. Spend a lot of time thinking. I can get pretty focused about my work when at work. I have gotten pretty good at meditation so I can clear my head pretty well now. Sometimes I'm kinda spaced out, I think it's a post menopausal thing. I admit it. I have gotten pretty good at just being. It's not a crime is it?

Lately not much, I'd really like this to change.

Shaving is over rated (for women that is). If you want more private info. you'll have to earn it.
