My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in Iowa and went to school there as well. I'm happy to be living somewhere different, but that doesn't mean I won't defend Iowans in a heartbeat if I feel the need to. I'm passionate, loyal, and kind. I'm the type of person that doesn't have a huge group of friends, but forms a few strong, intense connections with people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in St Louis doing my residency at Barnes Hospital.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
getting along with a wide range of people. Convincing my friends that one more drink is a good idea. Pretending like I'm smarter than I actually am.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Animals (as of now I have a cat but I really want a dog too)
2) Coffee
3) NPR
4) Good wine and beer
5) Travel
6) Feeling close to other people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what I want to do with my life. I really enjoy Medicine, but I think my real passion is in teaching others. I also love big cities, so I guess ideally I'll end up working in a Teaching Hospital in a bigger metropolitan area in the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
probably either at the hospital or out at the bars with my friends. But, if someone I'm around is interested in having a couple beers, playing board games or watching movies and staying in, I'm often up for that too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In High Fidelity there's a line where John Cusack's character talks about how "only people of a certain disposition are frightened of being alone for the rest of their lives at the age of 26." I'm secretly of that disposition.

you want to. I'll admit I'm busy with work and sometimes not the best about getting back to people because of it, but if you're interested in talking to me I'll probably be interested in talking to you.
