My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not sure if I'm really qualified to describe myself, but here goes nothing.

I like to think of myself as a intelligent, easy-going man with a good sense of humor. I'm not a paint the town red kind of a guy, don't care much for clubs and I can't dance (Not without a lot of help). I'm an avid reader so maybe I live in my head somewhat but I also like to go out to movies, plays or whatever is out there, and I'd do more of that if I had someone to accompany me, which is why I'm trying online dating.

I'm hoping for a serious, long term relationship. I want to be with someone who is smart, funny, independent yet willing to share her life.

I really don't know. No one has ever said "Hey, you're really...." Of course the end to that sentence could be "Handsome," or "Big and stupid."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read a lot. I feel I'm not doing my job as a citizen unless I'm working my way through a book, and my tastes are wide ranging, I like, sci-fi, highbrow literature, pulp horror, comic books (nerd alert). Some of my favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Kurt Vonnegut, Jeff Noon, Michael Chabon.

As for television some of my favorites are Mythbusters, The Daily Show, The Big Bang Theory, Archer, The Discovery Channel, PBS.
