As a kid I would pick up stray puppies and bring them home with me that my Mum would't let me keep. As an adult it hasn't changed that much, now my landlord wont let me keep them.
Anyway, I ate ants once as a snack (true story!); the point being that I will try anything at least once. I do not want to miss out on anything that I might like and only way to find that out is to keep trying different things.
About four years ago I stepped on a treadmill and ended up with the worst shin splints ever.... after walking half a mile! I decided to do something about the way this made me feel. Since that day I have run a couple of marathons, a couple of half marathons, bunch on 10K's. About a year ago I went barefoot, about 2 days after that I decided that I love my toes and do not want to loose them! I now run in minimalistic shoes and I recently finished my first Half marathon in those.
Meyers-Briggs personality test classifies me as an INTJ which makes sense to me and will probably be the first thing that you might catch if we meet.
I like sports but cannot for the life of me remember names of the teams or athletes or the scores. Also, I consistently loose my march madness bracket and end up buying beers for everyone else (in a best case scenario). I love watching movies and TV too but I can never think of the right answers in Trivia.
I have been stared at in the "T" because I thank the driver when I disembark. It bothered me initially but I guess its more of a Midwestern thing (where I spent 6 years) and it will take some time before people here start doing it.
