Where do I begin?
Some authors I like are (in no particular order) Kurt Vonnegut,
Jonathan Lethem, Philip K. Dick, William S. Burroughs, Jack
Kerouac, William Gibson, Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski,
Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Mikhail Bulgakov, Peter Kropotkin, George
Jackson, Haruki Murakami,H.P. Lovecraft, I could go on like
this.
I also love comic books (or, harrumph, "Graphic Novels") and can be
a big nerd about that shit when I feel like it. If you know who
Grant Morrison or Warren Ellis is, we might be rad friends. Also,
Batman is cool.
I like movies (most people do). Generally if it's dark, paranoid,
weird or psychedelic then there's a good chance I will like it.
Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, David Cronenberg, John Carpenter, David
Lynch, Park Chanwook, and weirdos like Alejandro Jodorowsky. Some
of my all time favorites movies are: Brazil, The Shining, Sympathy
For Mr. Vengeance, Night Of the Living Dead, The Fly, Taxi Driver,
The Thing, The Warriors, The Royal Tenembaums, They Live, again I
could go on.
As for Music, Mostly punk, a good deal of metal and regardless of
the genre I find myself listening to a lot of music from the 70s
and 80s . Bands like The Ramones, The Stooges, Iggy Pop, The
Buzzcocks, Crass, David Bowie,The Dickies, Minor Threat,
Rudimentary Peni, Black Flag, Joy Division, Wire, Wipers, The
Cramps, Daniel Johnston, Jeffrey Lewis, The Talking Heads, The
Fall, NoBunny, you get the idea.
I love cheap diner food.
