My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
26 year old small town bearded guy with a fondness for punk rock and comic books finds himself in Oakland, big surprise.

I like to have fun. This includes going on hikes, drinking on porches, laying around parks, watching movies, dancing like an idiot in my living room, reading comics, playing video games, and a whole mess of other activities that qualify as fun, use your imagination
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Wage slave with delusions of literary/artistic ambition. Mostly I spend my time trying to enjoy my life and spend it with friends
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having fun. Drinking Beer. Eating Burritos. Enjoying Breakfast, Losing important things (keys, phone numbers, paychecks). Dancing by myself, Dorking out, Linking together people who probably would never otherwise meet, Being completely oblivious to the fact that someone is flirting with me, Coming up with fake band names.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I dunno... my face?

I'm very easy to get along with and am quick to make freinds.

I often fail to make eye contact and am instead staring at a wall behind you. Sorry about that, I'm working on it.

Where do I begin?

Some authors I like: Kurt Vonnegut, Jonathan Lethem, Philip K. Dick, William S. Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, William Gibson, Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Ursula K. Le Guin, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Mikhail Bulgakov, Peter Kropotkin, George Jackson, Haruki Murakami,H.P. Lovecraft, I could go on like this.

I also love comic books (or, harrumph, "Graphic Novels") and can be a big nerd about that shit when I feel like it. If you know who Grant Morrison or Warren Ellis is, we might be rad friends. Also, Batman is cool.

I like movies (most people do). Generally if it's dark, paranoid, weird or psychedelic then there's a good chance I will like it. Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, David Cronenberg, John Carpenter, David Lynch, Park Chanwook, and weirdos like Alejandro Jodorowsky. Some of my all time favorites movies are: Brazil, The Shining, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, The Fly, The Thing, Videodrome, The Warriors, Bronson, They Live, again I could go on.

As for Music, Mostly punk, a good deal of metal and regardless of the genre I find myself listening to a lot of music from the 70s and 80s . Bands like The Ramones, The Stooges, Iggy Pop, The Buzzcocks, Crass, David Bowie,The Dickies, Minor Threat, Rudimentary Peni, Black Flag, Joy Division, Wire, Wipers, The Cramps, Daniel Johnston, Jeffrey Lewis, The Talking Heads, The Fall, you get the idea.

I love cheap diner food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether or not it was a dumb idea to put my actual name on here.

Casting imaginary movies that I wish someone would make, What the city of Oakland would look like as abandoned ruins, The unfathomable void of existence, Batman, Communism,

Typical bullshit.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably working, Otherwise I'd most likely be starting a living room dance party with some friends or seeing some ridiculous band in a shitty smoke-filled warehouse. Or just reading and eating good foods.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When it comes to the dance floor I know how to get low.

This site kind of reminds me of slow dance time in Junior High where everyone sits on opposite sides of the room and sort of furtively contemplates making eye contact.

Oh and I should mention that I'm not an asshole, that is the short version. The long version goes more like this : I see gender as a social construction, I just happen to mostly identify with the gender that many people associate with my biological "equipment." If you identify as queer, BI, Poly, non-monogamous, or just don't feel comfortable identifying as anything at all, NO WORRIES. I'm not uptight and I'm definitely not a bigot! If you think you might like me, send me a message and we'll worry about the details later. Even if I'm not interested I'll most likely still message ya back and say "hey."
