My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am nutritious and delicious. Who says you can't be both? :-)

Life is a mixture of amazing and outrageously amazing especially when I stop and look up from my ordinary day doing the simple things we all take for granted and really think about how it all comes together. Then again, it could be a pile of pants and I'm daydreaming and need to get back to work before someone notices that I'm slacking off.

Trying to find the right balance with the right guy.

In disguise, comfortably myself, and often misunderstood because I make things more confusing the more I try to explain.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it to its fullest... whatever that means. Taking more time to travel for fun recently. Meeting new people. Stopping to make money every once in a while. Having a little fun, and surviving... obviously... you know, the usual. And, developing my art which has lain dormant for far too long (writing, sketching, using sticky-tape).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Lots of things: Playing the kazoo, trying new things, breaking routines and that includes surprising lovers. (surprising m'lover can have its downsides when an unfortunate turn of events ensue, but let us not dwell on the negative) People interest me and I try to be a sincere listener; albeit, perhaps I don't listen as much as I should. May or may not be an objective observer where I tend to bore people with my extensive analysis of behaviour and find that I'm frequently wrong.

Most of the time I can see many sides of an argument.

Perhaps I'm fairly good at thinking I'm organized when I'm not... but then I'm a passive tidy person wishing I were a better slob. And, truth be told I can be a total bumbler.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Laid back comes to mind; although, if we are talking about other people's point of view, then LAZY is the optimal word here. What I mean by laid back from my perspective (if I'm allowed) is that in appearance it is ultra casual comfort over style, and when I say "open" if I did say open, is that I try to be welcoming in most settings with just about everyone. A little later -marked by the ticking of a nearby clock- if I like someone, he/she may notice that I'm a "smart-arse" if I feel comfortable enough with him or her. All out of love, ya understand.

Livre: all stories by Guy de Maupassant,V. Hugo, then Anne Rice, Thoreau, H.R. Haggard, Neil Gaiman, Allen Moore, Poe, Steinbeck, Terry Pratchett, Jaroslav Haschek's "The Good Soldier Schveck", some Philip Dick, Dostoyevski's "The Brother's Karamazov", Chuck Palahniuk, C. Bronte... (19th century archetypal) etc... and on to nonfiction; Elizabeth I (her collected letters), "Confessions of a Middle Aged Ecstacy Eater" by anonomous, Brian Greene's "Elegant Universe", Oliver Saks... umm... who else... I dont know... this one book about vampires was rather good.

Cine: The Notorious Betty Page, Micmacs,The Life Aquatic, Quills, Vidocq, Alien, Fur, Babette's Feast, Songs From the Second Floor, The Extra Man, Wild Target, Trainspotting, Hellboy I +II, Constantine, Crank2 (is a scream and a half!), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Youth In Revolt, Cheri, Sunshine, SuperBad, 2012 (yes, I like apocalyptic movies and John Cusack), Precinct 13 (modern version), WickerMan (the older version), War of the Worlds (both old and new), The Loved One based on the novel by Evelyn Waugh, Cold Comfort Farm, -if you watched and like Roberto Benigni, then you may understand my sense of humour better than most- to continue: Spider Baby, most 60s Horror especially w/ Barbara Steele, Peter Cushing or Vincent Price. Did anyone ever see that show where Elvira gets swallowed up by an alien that came through the Mtv airwaves? Yeh? What was the name of that?! < ok ok. I learned through an anonymous source that it wasn't Elvira but a spoof of Elvira (character name Madusa) and it was called Terrorvision.> Thank you anonymous phone caller.

I watch programmes long after the popularity's expiration date via Flix like StarGate-Universe, The Mighty Boosh and Flight of the Concords, Sanctuary, Doctor Who,Fringe, Breaking Bad, Carnivale, PeepShow, Lady's #1 Detective Agency... anything camp, funky, zany, a little outside of the norm and needless to say corny as an outhouse. You name it. I'll try it out! :D

Musique: Afro-Pop, Indian, global, alternative, industrial, bluegrass, indi, jazz, blues. Carolina Liar, Devil Doll, Mona, Morcheeba, Billi Holiday, Catatonia, Gabrielle Aplin, Pavement, The Black Heart Procession, Amanda Palmer, Snow Patrol, Beth Orton, Massive Attack, Johnny Mercer, Against Me!, M.I.A., Chuck Prophet, Leonard Cohen, Radio Head, Nina Simone, Tom Waits; Bone Machine + Alice + collaboration with Primus, Mahalia Jackson, Jeff Buckley, Allison Krauss, Ella Fitzgerald. (I dance to it ALL!)

Nourriture: love my VEG and I know how to cook fish... but for going out: SouthEast Asian, Indian, MiddleEastern, Italian, Ethiopian, French and Spicy... and up to trying something I haven't tried before, or anything that will make me flatulate.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
hope ... and that does it for me
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Ethology... no, seriously... you think I'm joking?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
After work, I'm tucking my son into bed. Then I find a book to fall asleep to.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

You're nice. We can start up a casual chat just for fun... then figure out the rest later. And, or, and, you like to talk about something intellectually stimulating if you know what I mean... nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more...
