Well, the online thing is a bit of an experiment ... I'll give it a try for a short time ... here goes ...

I am curious about most things, I love to dance, I am a musician and my main instrument is my voice, I love animals, kids, music, art, I used to be a really good softball player, I love to learn, need good conversation, I'm a good cook and I love good food and wine, the outdoors, and I love my friends deeply. Being active is very important to me. I'm not much for sitting on the couch when it's a nice day.

I have two boys, 12 and 14.5, who are hugely into music and musical theater. I have a great day job that is flexible and I am a professional singer on top of it all. I'm ready for some adventure and companionship.

I am a jazz singer, mostly. A story teller. My forte is close harmony singing. I love ensemble and I'm in a pro group, which I'll tell you about if we start chatting. I love harmony, I love working with students in jazz choirs and in solo jazz singing. And I'm pretty good at what I do. I'm expanding on that part of my creative life again now that my kids are older, and more performing too. It's fun, it's creative, the people I sing with are funny and fantastic ...

I work for a non-profit family foundation for a modern California artist who is quite amazing. I'm the report/database person so in addition to my musical creative life, I'm a bit of a computer geek as well. :) I'm a problem solver ... on many levels, I guess! I also do photo editing for our project. I'll tell you more if we meet.

I'm in SF until my youngest son is out of High School, then I'm completely open to living anywhere. I travel with my music group in small chunks of time at this point because of life and schedule. That means 3-4 days at a time, maybe a week sometimes. But I want to travel with a partner/companion too and actually vacation [whaaaat?], especially as my kids leave the nest in the coming years.

In no particular order, being a mom, organizing (people and schedules), learning software programs and code, singing, teaching, playing and being a good friend.

I smile a lot.

I love a good mystery, books and movies. Food ... um ... just about anything, actually ... except anchovies and sardines. [shiver] Live music, theater of all kinds ... very much like. Nothing specific because I'm interested in all kinds of genres.

The outdoors, exercise, going out to hear good music ...

I am currently loving the BBC dramas including Foyle's War, Downton Abbey, Prime Suspect, Upstairs Downstairs. I like some of the network shows ... I'm a "So You Think You Can Dance" groupie ... but TV is a wind down for me, not a staple.

Well ... my kids, music, friends, love, good food, money. Might be obvious choices but ... true.

Moving forward, and who might be interesting to meet.

Either working late, meeting up with friends, hanging with my boys, or singing somewhere for now ... but a lovely person to date would be a great addition to my list.
