My Self-Summary
I just moved to Germany and am trying to take advantage of all that
is new here! So much left to see of the world...! I'm always
looking for travel buddies and new friends. :) I enjoy outdoor
traveling more than sightseeing, though I do both.
I like to have thought-provoking conversations, discuss philosophical and ethical ideas and getting to know people. I prefer to listen more than talk, although I have been known to talk non-stop sometimes.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on advancing my career, on traveling, on meeting
people. Technically, right now I'm trying to buy a different
vehicle, which is taking up far too much of the free space in my
head... if that counts as "what I'm doing with my life."
I’m really good at
the English language - spelling, punctuation, etc (beware - I
scored really high on the "how well do you know the English
language" quiz on here)!, avoiding questions that I don't want to
answer. Getting jokes - eventually (wit is NOT a forte of mine!).
;), Thought-provoking conversations. Using emoticons and
punctuation endlessly to convey emotion when typing. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
Actually, what people tell me after they get to know me more is
that initially I come across as "terse" or intimidating or maybe
even b*tchy... I'm not. I'm just shy and not good at small talk.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Love the Harry Potter series and a lot of the classics like
Jane Eyre. I'm that nerdy girl that's in a book club - and likes
it!
Movies: I like independent films. And chick-flicks. And anything that's thought provoking like the Life of David Gale.
Music: I can sing along to a lot of songs but ask me who they are by or what the name is, and I can't tell you. I tend to like top 40 type music, indie and alternative. I love Iron and Wine and Three Days Grace.
Food: Love trying new foods. I think the only food I've found that I don't really like is Ethiopian.

The six things I could never do without
Really? Now that I've moved to Germany there are things that I WISH
I had, but I guess I can live without them.. Hmmm. I guess books,
friends and family, my bike, my camera, internet connection, and
water (no, I really love drinking water)...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
current state of the world, how to improve myself, my to-do
lists...
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on who I'm with, but often drinking at a low-key pub or bar
with friends or out to dinner with them. Maybe relaxing at home
watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
That i've been electrocuted more than once in my life... (I'm a bit
of a klutz and I lived on a farm...)
