My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Mary Oliver writes, "What are you going to do with your one wild, precious life?" Something about who I am is how much this speaks to me… I'm genuine, playful, gentle, and strong. I'm easy to be with, and there's a certain intensity about me. I'm passionate about people and things that matter to me. You could describe me as truly loving adventure and loving the true adventure. Music, beauty, nature, humor, these are also important.

I'm looking for a kindred spirit, a natural connection that grows over time. You will probably really like me if you're an evolving type of man...

A note that I don't have children, but only because of where my life took me earlier on, and would welcome yours with respect and an open heart.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Someone sent this poem to me and it fits.

When I Am Among the Trees
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks, and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness,
I would almost say that they save me, daily.
I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.
Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, "Stay a while."
The light flows from their branches.
And they call again, "It's simple,"they say.
"and you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light, and to shine."
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Connecting with people putting them at ease, singing, dancing, being healthy, my work, being serious and not being serious...actually both are true.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
probably my eyes, or my voice which I admit, makes me feel good when someone notices my voice.

movies coming to me at the moment: Recently, Birdman. the best film I've seen in a long time. City Lights, Frank Capra films, The Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, The Philadelphia Story, Moonstruck, A Room with a View, Romeo &Juliet, (1969) Lovers and Other Strangers, Witness, 81/2, Star Wars, All of Me, Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting, Being-There, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...

AH ALmas and recently inspired by Strphen Cope. Classics, novels that grab my attention in 2nd hand book store, Barbara Kingsolver, The Alchemist. I read all the Harry Potter Books and still don't feel she needed to get so dark.

Music so much and daily. I grew up studying classical music and Bach is probably my favorite but it's impossible to choose really. Much music from 60's, 70's, kirtan and kundalini yoga music , I even listen to top 40 music in the car, don't prefer rap but appreciate it more than I used to.

I'm a native New Yorker and appreciate ethnic and interesting food…love summer farmer's markets, pretty much an organic kind of a girl
