My self-summary
I try my best to be a good person. I feel it's important to say that. But it's about what you do, not what you say.

I love to be with my friends and I get awfully lonely without anyone around. I've been with my current girlfriend for over 2 years, and we hope to make it permanent. Before you ask, no neither of us are interested in an open relationship.

I love to laugh. If you can't laugh at yourself, then what can you laugh at, eh? I love comedies and comedians like Demetri Martin and Eddie Izzard. My friends rarely, if ever, see me mad.

I want to travel. All over. Australia, England, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Egypt, Bangladesh.

If you want to get to know me, then don't wait to message me!

I am totally awesome, completely honest, and quite the geek.
What I’m doing with my life
Finally back in school. I'm just starting my junior year at Berkeley. Currently working on a BA in Cognitive Science with a minor in Computer Science. Hoping to go into artificial intelligence and contributing to bringing about a new era for humanity. Lofty goals, perhaps, but I have every intention of doing it within my lifetime.
I’m really good at
Surprising people.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, personality, and sense of humour. The moment I'm comfortable around you, be prepared to always be in a good mood.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
[A - Books]
For fiction, I love the Harry Potter series and anything by Max Barry. I haven't read that much fiction lately, but I mostly go for creative fantasy worlds or satirical pieces.

For non-fiction, I enjoy anything about language and linguistics. Or authors who are able to put things together in an interesting, non-dry way. I love Michio Kaku and Mary Roach.

[B - Movies]
I believe that everyone has a trilogy. If you mention "the trilogy" to someone, they almost always imagine their favorite trilogy first, which can say a lot about someone. My trilogy is Back to the Future.

I also really love Kiki's Delivery Service, The Incredibles, Fight Club, The Sound of Music, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. And The Room will always have a special place in my heart.

[C - Shows]
In no particular order: Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Community, Modern Family, Parks & Recreation, Mystery Science Theatre 3000, New Girl, Supernatural, Spaced, Waiting for God, and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

[D - Music]
Once again, in no particular order: Barenaked Ladies, The Bird and the Bee, Daft Punk, Rush, Fall Out Boy, Gorillaz, The Hush Sound, Modest Mouse, Regina Spektor, Koop, Dirt Poor Robins, Bitter:Sweet, Louis Armstrong, and the Pierces. And recently I've developed a massive crush on Lindsey Stirling. <3

[E - Foods]
Burgers! And peanut butter and jelly sanwiches and mac & cheese! I'm pretty easy to please. I also occasionally really get in the mood for Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or Indian food. Paneer Tikka Masala is the shit!
The six things I could never do without
1) Hope
2) My friends
3) My computer
4) Something to learn
5) The essentials, obviously
6) Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Surface thoughts tend to be quotes. Just random quips floating through my head. Or I've probably got a song stuck in my head. Deep down I could be thinking about anything. Wormholes for example.

Lately I've been mentally mapping out programming methods to simulate hormones for an artificial intelligence.
On a typical Friday night I am
Finishing up my homework so I can relax during the weekend. That or probably cooking up a meal with my girlfriend and playing with our dogs.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can get intensely focused on one project and then move on to another project without finishing the first one. I have dozens of unfinished projects that I keep rotating through.
