Hello and welcome! I'm a native Washingtonian girl, living the single life. Yes, I like the rain but am learning to take advantage of the beautiful summers too. I live in the south end, work in Bellevue, and hang out in Seattle a lot so you can usually find me somewhere in radius of Lake Washington. This is why there is normally an overnight bag in my trunk - sometimes I feel like a nomad (I'm like a boy scout, always prepared)! I love the local music scene and am happy to offer suggestions if you're interested. I find I'm less of a home-body as I get older but shoot for at least one weekend a month where I don't get out of my pajamas. I guess my interests are pretty typical but I'm always up for trying whatever fun suggestions are out there - concerts, mixers, hiking, camping, etc.

I am an executive assistant and office manager for a property management and hospitality company - which is the official description but I always tell people I'm a gopher. It's a family-owned company so not the typical stuffy office environment. My job ranges from party planning to dog walking. Good people and it keeps me on my toes!
It allows me to have many great experiences that I feel I will be able to use in the future but I'm not going anywhere soon.

Taking care of people and finding sales.

I get a lot of compliments on my smile to which I happily reply, "Thank you. My parents paid good money for it." Second would probably be that I'm super pale.

Books: As far as books go, my favorite classic is To Kill a Mockingbird, Dan Brown has decent books and I've read a handful of Ann Rice in the past. I've recently discovered the Kindle app on my phone so my horizon has expanded exponentially. I'm currently reading the Song of Ice & Fire/Game of Thrones series (No, I haven't watched the series yet. I'm waiting until I finish the books.). Now I'm just working my way through what's popular so next on my list is the Hunger Games.

Movies: I don't think there is a specific genre of movie that I tend towards so I'll list some of the titles in my collection: Ghostbusters, Shawshank Redemption, Legends of the Fall, the Birdcage, My Fellow Americans, To Wong Food: Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Indiana Jones, SLC Punk, Bridesmaids. Apparently I own more comedies than dramatic films.

Television: I find myself getting sucked into bad reality documentaries lately (damn TLC) like Long Island Medium, Intervention, My Strange Addiction, No Reservations, Breaking Amish, What Not To Wear, The Soup. The only new sitcoms I really follow are Wilfred and Shameless, both are just twisted and I love them. The IT Crowd is classic - British comedies are fine by me!

Music: Where to start? Local bands include Hot Bodies in Motion, Cody Bebee & the Crooks, Carson & Tess Henley, Kris Orlowski, Allen Stone, Ben Union, Whiskey Syndicate, Camile Bloom, Andrew Vait/Eternal Fair, Motopony, Ivan & Alyosha, and The Local Strangers to name a few. Favorite all time artists are Hanson (yes, that Hanson), Colin James, and Tony Lucca not counting all the classic rock that I love like the Beatles, the Doors, and Led Zeppelin.

Food: No preference! I like all food and am willing to try most things at least once. Indian, Mexican, Thai, pizza, and you can't beat a good steak and I believe pho cures all (especially hangovers).
