I am confident, affectionate, and a good massure.
My Self-Summary
G'Day, I'm James. I'm 23. I'm a cover supervisor at a Secondary
School in Kings Lynn with the intention of becoming a history
teacher. Before that, I used to work in a Science laboratory in
Ely.
To strangers and new people I often come across as confident,
sometimes cheeky and quite a talker (I can chat and laugh with
virtually anyone who speaks the English language). I am susceptable
to having quiet or moody periods and I'm a bad loser when it comes
to sports. However, I'm caring, thoughtful and generous,
deep-thinking and emotional, guilty of 'girly' amounts of romance
and sentimentality at times, very affectionate and tactile towards
people who are close to me.
History and the past is my passion and has been ever since I was
little. Anything from Ancient to Modern will get me going! Im
especially interested in the history of Europe and America. However
I'm currently reading a book on the History of New Zealand! I'm
quite political and I always have a view on something in the news.
I like to think I'm a 'reformist conservative' (if such a term
exists!).
I'm considered quite funny (more by what I do/have done than
say!)
Im quite a planned and organised person (although you wouldn't
guess it if you saw my desk). I'm not normally one for surprises.
Trust, honesty and communication are absolutely everything to me
and I'm very open with people I trust.
I like sports. I'm a Manchester United supporter (My father's side
of the family came from West Manchester - so I have
justifications!). I also follow Rugby and Cricket.
I've travelled extensively too. I recently got back from New
Zealand. I've also visited Australia, Singapore (my favourite
destination so far!), Hong Kong. I've seen most of the Caribbean.
Also visited Maderia, Spain, Portugal, France (Normandy), Holland
(Amsterdam). I love talking about places and people so please do
share your travels with me.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a cover supervisor but with the intent of then becoming a
history teacher. I used to work in a microbiology laboratory that
made medical diagnostic kits for various viruses and diseases.
I’m really good at
- People Skills: socialising, communication, empathising with
people/making them feel important.
- Listening to people and giving my honest advice, as well as
making them laugh!
- Dancing (love to have a boogie on the dancefloor - I've got some
'moves' so I've been told too!)
- Massages: I'm very tactile to those who are close to me. I'm
really good at giving back, hand or foot massages.. and I love
getting them in return too!
The first things people usually notice about me
My sociable and bubbly personality and my perfect smile/teeth
(apparently??)
