This is a bit of a weird box. I am equal parts Texan, Brooklyn, Brown, Nerdy, Sassy, and Feminine.

I am in my last year of ER residency. Just typing that put a big smile on my face:) Most days I can handle anything at work. Occasionally sleep deprivation gets in the way. I do other things with my life too (dance, sing, travel) but this takes up the most of my time right now.

Reading people. Being Outside. Discovering Parks. Staring at Clouds. Getting to the beach. Lying in sand. Playing in waves. Laughing. Watching Movies. Cooking. Dancing. Organizing my music. Smiling. Singing. Photographing. Electronics shopping. All activities seasonally variable except smiling.

My Confidence. When I am not wearing my glasses. My Hair.

I like food that tastes good. Especially if it comes from a hole in the wall restaurant.

I like Ingrid Michaelson, Lilly Allen, Alice Smith, Jill Scott, old school Beyonce, Sade, Adele. U2, Cake. Rodrigo & Gabriela. TOK. Reggae in general. Any Music with a good beat and lyrics that make sense. My taste is pretty eclectic. I even like some country (I grew up in TX - what can I say).

TV: Scandal! How I met your mother. Once upon a Time. Glee. Law and Order SVU. (I'm an SVU junkie) Three's Company. I am going through a TV show phase right now so I can't say I've seen a lot of movies lately . .but i like Big. Adventures in Babysitting. Steel Magnolias.

Oh Books. Well I have to read those all the time for work. But I was pretty well read in non-medical stuff before I started residency. I love Oscar Wilde.

How I am going to accomplish my goals. When I am going to see my friends/family next and what we are going to do. Patients. How the heck I am going to get everything done that I want to get done in the time I have to get it done. Getting it done.

With friends, usually more low key, but sometimes at an amped up locale.

I'm just as scared of getting hurt as the next person.
