'ello! I'm not a huge fan of long winded exposition, so I'll keep it relatively short! I'm currently a junior in university who's keeping his options open in terms of careers. Aside from writing, I'm also looking into going back to Japan to teach English! There's also the slightly geeky side of me; I enjoy video games, but don't quite have the time for them as much as I used to. I'm a big fan of the industry though! Some great stories come out of games.

By nature I can be a bit quiet, but once I open up to someone that changes. Sounds pretty cliche, but it's true. Aside from what I mentioned above I also love to read, watch movies, explore LA and go for long drives. I'm open to more ideas though. Adventure is always welcome!

Right now I'm pursuing my B.A. at a university in Los Angeles. My major is currently Asian & Pacific Studies with an emphasis on Japan. I'm planning on adding a minor in Business. I see myself writing in the future, whether it be journalistic or novel based is it to be determined. My dream is to travel the world and write about it. Alternatively, I could see myself working for a company's branch in Japan as some kind of consultant or interpretor.

Aside from being a student I am also a writer and a teacher's assistant. I currently write for two different websites. One deals with the media of various Asian countries. Again, I focus on Japan. The other site I write for focuses primarily on the pop culture of Japan. As for my job, I'm currently the TA for an upper division Political Science course. I basically do everything the professor doesn't want to/have to do.

I'd like to believe that I'm a fairly decent writer and editor by this point, but I'm always learning! I'd also like to think I'm good at listening to people and giving advice when they need it. Other handy skills include exploring new places (i.e. getting lost) and somehow discovering interesting places to shop or eat. My memory can also be surprisingly good.

Things people tell me they notice first include my smile, my eyes and my sense of style. I tend to enjoy dressing on the business casual or preppy side. I can also be a bit analytical or sarcastic, which my friends are quick to point out. I'd love to hear what your first impression of me is though!

Food: Essentially anything, but I tend to go for the more pesco-vegetarian. I love sushi and Japanese food in general. But yes...Sushi is my love when it comes to food. Good soba probably comes second.

No particular order, I just like numbers.

1) My journals. I love writing anywhere, anytime.

2) My iPhone. Need my music and a means of communication.

3) My car. Need to get around some how, right?

4) Traveling. I always feel the need to travel and explore. It helps broaden my thinking and creativity when it comes to writing.

5) Sushi. It's delicious! I know quite a few places you'd probably like! Assuming you like sushi too that is!

6) Friends. They're always there for you when you need them!

The future mostly. I spend way too much time thinking about how things I'm doing now will affect my future. Like, will writing this answer somehow result in me finding someone down the road? Or am I just typing away my time? It's really interesting how the smallest of actions can have immense impacts. In general though, I tend to think way too much sometimes.

I'm usually out with friends or home writing. If I'm with friends we're at some mall, a coffee shop or just wandering around! So long as there's adventure involved at some point it's a good Friday night! I'm not much of a club person, but I do love to hang out! Doesn't really matter where; the company is more important than the place.

The fact I'm on this site. That's pretty private I suppose...Though most people seem to put that ahah If you want to find out something a bit more private just ask :p

Honestly, I'm not like that; I'd much rather talk about the last movie you saw or book you read than jump to sex...Which is probably hard to believe when looking at some of the others in my gender group.
