My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I guess I would describe myself as a down to earth and fun person who loves to laugh and have a good time. I'm the kind of girl that likes to go out, but can be just as happy watching a movie at home. While I enjoy playing sports (got back into tennis/running this past year), I also like seeing live performances of all types (concerts, theatre, improv, comedy, etc). As long as there's good company around, I'm up for just about anything.

I'm officially back to Columbus after spending the past 10 years or so in Houston/Tulsa/Denver/Atlanta. Needless to say, I'm going through culture shock. It's weird being back in my hometown, but am looking forward to the new opportunities that this change will bring. That being said, my downtime can be a bit limited at times due to training at CrossFit/regular gym (5x/week) and work. During my downtime I'm hoping to rediscover what Columbus has to offer. Still hit Atlanta twice a month or so since I spent the majority of the last decade there and love the city.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After years of working in commercial real estate, I now work for my family. The job isn't the most exciting thing at times, but it works for the time being.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Causing mischief and mayhem wherever I go :-)

Seriously, I'm good at quite a few things. Extremely organized, good at managing my finances, playing sports, figuring out what people want before they ask - just to name a few.
The first things people usually notice about me

Depends on who you ask. Most people say my smile or boundless energy. If you ask people at the gym, I get comments on my calves (weird, but they are in good shape). Guys in general notice my chest (yes, I have curves). Unfortunately a lot of people notice my sneeze too, which was described the other day as the tiniest trumpet. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm a huge fan of Ayn Rand and have been since my freshman year of high school. The Fountainhead has remained one of my favorite books since then and each time I read it I take something new from it. Lately I've been reading a bit more science fiction/fantasy (MLN Hanover mainly).

In terms of music, anything except for rap works for me. I tend to enjoy more indie music these days (i.e... Devotchka) or classic rock, but appreciate everything from classical to heavy metal. Strangely enough, I've even started liking hip hop to a point. I try to go to shows whenever possible (although missing Bonnaroo last year sucked). If I had to have a favorite band it would probably be the Ramones. Or the Beatles. Or....nevermind, picking just one is too hard.

Don't know if I really have a favorite movie. My movie collection is a bit odd since I have a lot of old films (think Rita Hayworth or stuff done by Hitchcock/Bergman/Sirk) mixed in with modern day comedies, good and bad independent films, with some drama thrown in for good measure. One thing noticeably missing, though, is horror. I'm a huge scaredy cat when it comes to scary movies and will usually only watch them with someone else there.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Working out. I try to be active every day whether it's running, strength training, hot yoga, etc.
2. My puppies, Payton and Buzzy (they're evil in a good way)
3. Internet/cell phone (although I do like to totally unplug at times)
4. Running/lifting shoes
5. Good films/music/books (I know that's three but I need them)
6. Downtime. As much as I like being around others, it's nice to have time away from everyone and everything to just decompress a bit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, real estate, and finance (I studied each in college and developed a passion for them). My future and whether or not I've made good decisions over the last year or so.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Getting a workout in before heading out for drinks. Checking out local improv shows or bands or just hanging with friends. Sometimes I like to stay in and just play with the dogs while watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That's classified.
