I've been living in Boston for over three years now and I am trying to make new friends and have a good time.

I am trying to balance both my personal life and my professional life. Currently, my professional life is taking over most of my time but I would gladly enjoy sharing my life with someone.

I go to grad school in biology and I am in my third year of my PhD. I'm constantly thinking about my thesis but also on what's next in my life. Ideally I would like to become a scientist and do research the rest of my life.

Remembering details about my friends and paying attention to someone talking to me. I very often remember random facts about people but I can be totally oblivious to some more obvious aspects regarding people (like new hair cuts, I won't see someone I know walking past me on the street or sitting in a bus near me).

I guess my mixed ethnicity. Most people guess I' filipino or asian, however they're wrong. Ask for more details...

Hopefully, they'll notice that I like laughing a lot too.

My favorite books are The Gospel According to Jesus Christ by Saramago, Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, The Eighth Day of Creation by and The Cave by Saramago. I love latin american literature, I especially like Julio Cortazar, Borges and Benedetti

I love The Doves, Coldplay, Radiohead, Garbage, Cafe Tacuba, La Ley, The Whitest Boy Alive, Shirley Manson, Doves, Feist and Zero 7. I also really like Passion Pit, Phoenix, MGMT, the Killers, the XX.

My favorite movies are Le Fabuleux Destin D’Amélie Poulain, The Matrix and Being John Malkovich.

I love portuguese, chinese and mexican food. I really love tapas, I guess they remind me of having a good time with friends I also recently fell in love with vegetarian food and vietnamese pho as well as korean barbecue! I guess I love all sorts of food.

My future, both my personal life and my career are very important for me and I think about them very often. Sometimes I also reflect on the past trying to learn from previous mistakes but also thinking of fun times in the past.

Out having dinner with friends, followed by drinks and a dancing party. However, I can also just stay home and enjoy reading a book. I am pretty much open to all sorts of fun.

I love concerts, museums and theater and wish I got a chance to go to them more often.

I'm pretty transparent, can't really think of anything really really private. Well, ask me very nicely and I'll share some secrets with you.

You want to make a new friend and hang out some time. Get dinner, some coffee, go to a bar, go to the movies or do something fun (I am pretty open to try anything new).
