I am sarcastic, loyal, and enigmatic.
My Self-Summary
I sing for a punk band in town, I love
music of all kinds. I love my
dog and take him everywhere I
can. I love to read and have this problem where I will sit down
with a book and finish it 4 hours later. I like sitting down with
friends with a nice
beer (I mean like the Stone Porter or Fat
Tire, not like natty ice) to watch a game (
football,
baseball or whatever it doesn't matter
to me. I can be a bit of a sports junkie)
I'd like to go out and experience culture, go catch a play or
something, I just don't have anyone to go with. I used to be
involved with theatre when I was a kid and enjoyed it quite a
bit.
I need to fix my
bike
so I can ride it more but the more I try and do at home the more I
break. But I love learning to fix it on my own. I really like
gaining knowledge through my own means, but if I can't figure it
out I have no problem asking for help.
I'm extremely easy going, I can go out on the town just as easily
as I can sit around in pajamas all day. I also enjoy being outside
and doing things like
camping,
whitewater rafting and
skiing. I'll try
anything once, and then maybe twice just to make sure I don't
actually like it. I love living and experiencing everything I can.
I try to treat every day like an adventure since for all I know it
could be my last.
College and I didn't particularly get along, but I don't think it's
a stretch to call myself an intellectual.
What I’m doing with my life
Going to tech school to get a job in IT to finance my punk rock
habit.
staying up way too late and sleeping way too late.
Not playing enough golf and playing too many video games.
Trying to start a second band and then giving up because I love my
first one too much.
I’m really good at
making friends, I'm super laid back and easy to get along with as
long as they're not a complete tool.
Riding a bike.
Entertaining hyperactive puppies.
Watching sportscenter until I fall asleep. I don't think that
particularly qualifies as a skill though. But I'm very good at it.
The first things people usually notice about me
my eyes or my sense of humor, depends on how extroverted I'm
feeling.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: 1984, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintenance,
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, anything by Hunter S Thompson,
Vonnegut, and I've been trying to get into Dickens and Dostoevsky
lately but they're a bit wordy, could be worse though they could be
James Fennimore Cooper
Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, Ong
Bak
Music: lately I've been on a big folk kick, primarily protest songs
for the unions. I'm also a big fan of bands that play very fast and
very loud, as well as soft sad songs with a piano.
The six things I could never do without
music, my dog, a band, bourbon on the rocks after a really hot day,
summer, my bike
I spend a lot of time thinking about
if you watch home alone backwards it's about some ex-cons helping a
kid clean his house and then one becomes a police officer and
visits to say hello
On a typical Friday night I am
out and about usually being too loud.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm a hopeless romantic who has hit my apathy apex. I've been out
of the dating scene for a while now as I just sort of stopped
caring, so you'll have to excuse me if I'm awkward, I forgot how to
play this game and feel better off for it.
Oh, and I'm a Bengals fan.
You should message me if
you read books.
you question things around you that upset you or confuse you
instead of taking everything at face value.
you're a cool person.
