I am tangental, vibrant, and quirky

I coordinate public health research which means I work with people who are sick and try to help them make their lives better. Most of my interests revolve around trying to "do good" or at least, do no harm. I recycle, show up on time, tip well and volunteer.

I have a knack for making people laugh. I think I'm funnier when I'm nervous. I also have lots of neat talents like, touching my tongue to my nose, cartwheels and I'm really bendy.

Also, I think I'm good at putting people at ease and being a good friend, sister, aunt, worker, daughter and community member. I try to see the best in people and work to keep my negativity to a minimum.

I have a strong personality and I think that's what people remember about me. And when I say, "strong," I don't mean pushy or domineering. I'm out spoken, at times but mostly, I'm just silly.

Books: I love David Sedaris, Bill Bryson, J.D. Salinger, Margaret Atwood and can't live with out my reference books.

Music: Sarah Harmer, Band of Horses, Radiohead, Sia, The Black Keys, Ray LaMontagne, Ben Harper, Sigur Ros, Marvin Gay, Jimmy Scott, Be Good Tanyas, Patty Griffin, Nina Simone and many classical composers.

Movies: There's always movies I want to go see but I rarely go see anything. I love movies that are beautiful like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and movies that make me think/break my heart like The Constant Gardner

Food: I'll try anything that won't kill me
