I've been working since I was 12 years old. At first on farms and then into other more mainstream avenues. Yes, I worked dairy farms. Yes I was on horseback for several hours a day. I'm glad for the experiences. They taught me what hard work and dedication can do. I do sometimes miss that super exhausted feeling you can only get from busting your butt doing manual labor. Then I remember, it's manual labor.
I'm a simple man with simple tastes. I've never understood the need to rush out and buy the next big piece of tech, the latest and greatest toys. They are just material possessions. Whether it's a new smart phone or a big screen tv.. as Kurt Vonnegut put it when he heard Bill Gates asking what your P.C could become.. toys shouldn't become, people should. That's where I am, on a journey to see what I become.
