My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love hiking, camping, cycling, chatting, and checking out new parks. I would love to get to know a girl who is adventurous and free spirited.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I work as a Geologist for the State. I just bought a house in Clintonville, so a lot of my time has been spent personalizing it (painting, tile changes, moving stuff around etc.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing devils advocate (it's impossible to be right, without an ironclad argument)
Sudoku
putting things off
walking and chewing bubble gum
(I am really terrible at social networking...I just don't get the
facebook/twitter craze...why do I need to know you just woke up?
I had a facebook, but when I heard on NPR it was the 10th anniversary, I deleted it)
Not taking myself too seriously, and having an extremely dry sense of humor
Oh, and recently I am pretty sweet at Sudoku (without writing the numbers down as possible solutions)....(Yes, I felt this needed to be restated and not removing the afore mentioned Sudoku)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Just kidding, my eyes, and I was once told my legs (but seriously, I am told my personality is either a love or hate thing cause I am very sarcastic and as I was just informed a bit abrasive)

I have also been asked before if I play/played football. I guess I have the build, but no, I have never played the sport. I am also not much of a fan of watching most sports.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Love movies: Indiana Jones 3,1,4 and never 2 (in that order), Hunt for Red October, Rocketman (No, not the one about the guy with a rocket strapped to his back. That was the Rocketeer), world war II movies, Band of Brothers..etc etc etc.
Shows: Dexter, Fringe, Hell on Wheels, Breaking Bad, and Walking Dead, Mad Men, The Killing (Pretty much anything on AMC is golden), House of Cards, West Wing, and The News Room.
Music: pretty varied, just as long as I can understand the lyrics (no metal or Hard Hard Rock) classical, instrumental (really been getting into Folk lately like Martin Sexton, Ryan Montbleau Band, Caroline Smith and the Good Night Sleeps, and Amos Lee)
Food: anything without bananas, not against them just dont eat them
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Apple computer
NPR
Intelligent, open minded discussion (rather hard to find)
Good movies
cold Dihydrogen Monoxide (despite what the research shows)
National, State and metro parks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I would do if I won the lottery (even though I never buy a ticket)

If the zombie apocalypse happened tomorrow, would I be able to survive?

How is it some people have survived this long?

That Awful should actually be the superlative of Awesome.

Why is it we don't hear what others are saying but instead hear our own translation of what is being said.

What is up with 'Hello Kitty', at this point I just roll my eyes and/or run (a little dangerous to do at the same time), but seriously what is it about....

How Nikola Tesla, should be considered one of the greatest inventors of all time, is barely known to the everyday man. He didn't even make into the 'Times top 100 People', but that good for nothing Marconi did.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Pretty much down for anything. Bar, coffee shop, movie, making dinner then staring at a fire while drinking wine. All while discussing how to survive the zombie apocalypse and will they walk like in the movies or run like a cheetah chasing a gazelle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I want Carl Kassel to be the voice on my home answering machine (god, get with the 21st century Peter Sagal)

I also don't like bacon. Yes, I am sure I will not hear the end of that one.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you can guess which figure in the picture I am
If you can also walk and chew bubble gum at the same time
If you know what it means to be in the barn (Cards behind the ears and milking the utters) (however, not a deal breaker)

Also, if this lyric describes you "girl with a short skirt and Lonnnnnnnnnnnng Jacket" (metaphorically speaking of course, not literally)

What I am looking for is a partner, an equal. Someone who will put into the relationship as much as I am willing to. Someone who can meet me on similar plains of intelligence, makes up for my shortcomings and I for hers.
