Let's see - where to begin... I just moved to Socal a few months ago from back east... am loving it so far. I'm kind of a character... I like to go out, whether it's camping or clubbing and I love to meet new people. I'm just looking for some new friends here in town right now... if something else develops, that's cool too, but I really just want to meet some fun, sincere people.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a civil engineer - looking into going back to school for a Masters. It's a challenging job... but I love it.

Snowboarding... dancing... doing shots!

Seriously, I'm really good at being there for people. I think that's really important in life.

The first things people usually notice about me

I've got some theories... but you tell me! I'll tell you what people don't usually notice first - that I'm a little bit of a nerd. I still like cartoons and I can't wait to go to Comic Con next year.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Hmm... I loved the Unbearable Lightness of Being. The Notebook is one of my faves as well.

Movies: I'm a girl - I love a good romantic comedy... don't hate me! I also like the Big Lebowski and Big Fish. Anything with Big in it. Big with Tom Hanks too, I guess.

Music: U2 and Bon Jovi! Woo woo!

Food: Pretty much anything that isn't raw or rare. Not a big fan of steak (though I've been known to cook a mean one).

The six things I could never do without

My iPod, AutoCAD, warm socks, my snowboard, and my two cats. And Bono, I suppose, but that's seven.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

It depends how depressed I want to be, so it ranges from the suffering in Africa to how to see as many U2 concerts as possible per tour. My record is five!

On a typical Friday night I am

In PB, the Gaslamp or in a tent on the side of a mountain.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm a little nervous about this whole online dating thing! Not sure how I like it yet. It's a lot different than how I usually meet guys.
