A self summary of myself would be a very simple one. My name is David and I am now 29 soon to be 30. I am a guy who has spent a better part of his life working towards some fix goals before I would consider dating. I wanted to be financially sound. I wanted to eat better and exercise more. I wanted to be sure I knew who I was before I would someone else to accept me for who I was.

I am the classic nerd so to speak. I love to play games of all kinds. I like to read, and even do some writing when the mood hits me. I love music and sounds. I am also an office manager of a veterinary hospital so I spend 6 days a week at an office that is anything but predictable.

I am good at learning new ideas and concepts. I love reading some new book if it has an interesting concept. Learning is something that I love and would never wish to lose.

The first thing people probably notice is that I am a quiet person. I have always been like this even though once I start to talk I become very opinionated. Some people also notice my height, but really I don't feel that tall compare to many other people. Certainly nothing to be amazed.

I am willing to read any kind of book as long as it holds my attention and provides a good set of characters. I love the George R.R. Martin books, but I have also read Michael Shaara along with Ayn Rand and Ken Follett.

Movies are always fun to watch from the summer blockbuster to the great drama pieces. So long as the story doesn't go too far into the unbelievable then I will enjoy the movie or show.

Music wise I love instrumental music since I can simply add my own story to the music without worrying about lyrics. Though I always have love metal music, and country if the mood is right which is not very often.

I need my computer, my books, my games, my cell phone, my music, along with pen and paper.

I spend much of my time thinking of how to improve my way of life. I don't want to be incredibly rich with many toys, but I would love to be able to live my life in comfort.

A typical Friday sadly is at home relaxing since I have to work the next morning. Saturday night though is when I am gone to see a movie or hang out with friends.

I am a nerd who always gets nervous saying that I am a nerd. Its silly and I should just enjoy my life, but I still get nervous over this one thing.
