Video games have been my hobby for the past 20 years. I do not play them to my own detriment... most of the time. Still waiting for a more official announcement for Fallout 4, but in the mean time Wasteland 2 is getting ever closer to completion and Star Citizen continues to amaze me. Also just picked up Bravely Default, such a lovely game. Great art and music, particularly for a handheld.
I'm a very musical person, I am always listening to music, singing, or attempting to learn more bass. I like pretty much everything but I generally stay away from rap and most country.
I am very straight-forward and honest. Chances are even if you don't want my opinion you'll end up getting it.
By the same token, I have very thick skin, so insulting me or embarrassing me is nigh impossible. However, I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and thick skin doesn't protect it so much.
I love to make people laugh. Probably one of the reasons I went into nursing.
I know just enough to hold a conversation with someone about anything. It's all relative anyhow, just a matter of finding a common point.
I own and ride regularly a motorcycle. No, I do not do anything stupid on it (they are nicknamed donorcycles for a reason in the ER).
I do not smoke, I rarely drink (and not much, I'm the DD if I do go out) and I don't do drugs. Isn't an addiction to video games expensive enough?
I love going out and staying in. Honestly I need some escape from being trapped at work 40 hours a week. Better than doing clinicals I suppose.
My friends are the world to me, even if it doesn't show. We're all very abrasive towards each other, my family included. So while it may look or sound like I hate them at times, I assure it's the opposite.
I am very open to new ideas and theories.
I am well known to play devil's advocate on the side of issues I don't necessarily believe in simply to make others question their standpoint. If you aren't willing to see both sides, why pick one? Both have merits.
I'm often too nice for my own good, even if I do put up a facade about it. I often end up being a doormat for people. At least I haven't been turned into a newt yet...
If you're interested in a movie or TV show, and can tell me why it's interesting, I will sit there and be equally enthralled by it. Just ask my roommate about how much I Pawn Stars and Restoration Stars now...
I'm sure this list will grow as I get bored.
