My interests run from the profound to the profane. I can be
serious, bookish and civil or knock down a few drinks at the
karaoke bar while putting on a spirited (if not talented)
performance. Raised on 60's, 70's rock n' roll, lately I've become
an avid fan of jazz funk. I also listen to blues, jazz, and "world"
music. Love food & the NY restaurant scene, in all of its
diversity. I will try, with varying degrees of success, to
re-create a memorable restaurant dish at home. While I'm not
disciplined enough to resist sinfully great tasting food, I try to
eat in a healthful & sustainable way in the spirit of my
current food guru authors, Michael Pollan and Mark Bittman.
I'm eternally curious and enjoy a partner who brings something new
into my world. What have you got? Let's see if I can handle it.
