My self-summary
I don't like writing about myself, since I feel like I'm either doing myself a disservice or greatly overestimating my qualities (not like it matters since I've never gotten any sort of use out of this website, no messages 9_9)
But well here goes: cripplingly shy, loudmouthed, intellectual, hard-drinking, communist, cancer-survivor. Jack-of-most-trades knowledge about myriad subjects, would like to learn more about what I don't know. Working on getting a degree in biology and environmental sciences because I have a compulsion so save the cheerleader and the world. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate or am not enthusiastic about a WIDE array of things, from popular culture to politics to classical/rap music to science fiction to pretentious documentaries to trying to become a better, more open person.
What I’m doing with my life
Figuring out the best way to actively engage in revolution and repair the ecocide done to the planet without getting murdered by corporatists or their jackbooted enforcers (AKA i live in the world of Shadowrun sans the cool magic aspect)
I’m really good at
Marxist commentary of star trek episodes. Example:

the bajorans (who live on the planet near the space station) are simple religious folk who have been brutally occupied by space fascists. The secular federation convinces the space fascists to piss off and send in Sisko to administer their operations in the sector. It turns out that the gods the Bajorans worship are actually interdimensional aliens who live in the nearby wormhole, which has been invisible for centuries until Sisko and Dax accidentally discover it in the premiere. Sisko then has an encounter/vision with the aliens which makes him a saint to the bajorans. Now he has to walk the line between his secular Federation duties and unwittingly being turned into the Pope for a race of highly religious traumatized farmers
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am a curmudgeonly unattractive keebler elf with a very opinionated and well-read views on every aspect of society.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy everything ever written by Arthur C. Clarke, Carl Sagan, Isaac Asimov, Larry Niven, Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, Richard K. Morgan and Christopher Moore. I love fiction, cyberpunk, fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, and non-fiction history books absent of jingoistic propaganda A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, for one. I don't normally read graphic novels, but I've recently come across the Fables series, Neil Gaiman's Sandman, and Watchmen.

I love any movie that I can watch from a left-wing perspective and use to criticize anyone to the right of me (aka District 9, Robocop, Ratatouille, and so on).

I like punk, jazz, blues, rock, classical, rap, hip-hop, and even the bland consumerist pop music that is shit out by The Machine sometimes.

I watch A LOT of television. Seriously, talk to me about a show and I'll either be interested in talking or feign interest out of crippling shyness and politeness. Most of all, I love Community. I hope you do, too

I am a vegetarian and thoroughly enjoy my subsistence on practically anything edible I can get my hands on.
The six things I could never do without
Leftist outrage, science fiction that is not misogynist, mutually fulfilling conversation, the internet, a deep and abiding love for all living things reconciled with a bitter hatred of the worst aspects of humanity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, and whether or not I am wasting my life to get my degree in biology when in all honesty there won't be much biology left when i get out of college.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am the reincarnation of Carl Sagan sans the charisma
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–27
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals, casual sex
You should message me if
You're open to conversing with a high-functioning autist who will talk at length about whatever the subject is, don't mind constant allusions of contemporary events to science-fiction, don't have bad opinions on things, and are smart and like talking about not boring things.
I don't normally make first contact, but you'd probably enjoy the disastrous results that come from you breaking the ice.
