What I’m doing with my life
I like building things, recently companies.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
Honestly, I've never asked. I would like to believe they notice my
easy charm and yet how my piercing eyes seem to take in everything.
But they probably just notice my enormous head.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I take a lot of flak that one of my favorite books is "Salt: A
World History", but it was fascinating! "Guns, Germs, and Steel"
was illuminating. I collect books with one word titles ("Rum",
"Spice", "Gunpowder", "Rats") partly because it makes for eccentric
conversation, but mostly because they're interesting. I like to
probe things deeply.
I also Cussler, Clancey, Chrighton, Grisham, Preston & Child...
historical fiction, mystery, action & adventure. These are
often set in places that I've been, or want to go.
I always have music playing in the background. I like a wide range
of styles. Dave Mathews Band, Eminem, Portishead, Black Keys...
Beethoven and The Beatles deserve every accolade they've gotten.
The six things I could never do without
Books, an internet connection, mystery, carnitas, a crush, and a
place to be alone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The silliness - and inevitability - of science vs. religion
debates. Why potato chips are so good. The myth of "reason". Which
porn site is really the best porn site. What topic I want to dive
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm pretty good at shocking people. Not because I'm such an outlaw,
but because I apparently (unintentionally!) give off a strong
innocent boy-next-door vibe, which is... LOL, ahem... perhaps
You should message me if
You like deep conversation sprinkled with juvenile humor. You know
the difference between a Martini and a glass of chilled vodka. Your
music collection includes a little bit of everything, except maybe
country. You want to be fascinated - intellectually, emotionally,
physically - and utterly lose yourself in an encounter every now
