2/6/13 I recently got out of a relationship, so it is a work in progress updating this profile. I've changed a lot from when I first created it, so bear with me.

I find it difficult by far to nail myself down to a single social group and archetype. I keep such a diverse mixture of friends that I take little bits of each and adapt them to how I identify myself. I am alternative, burner, goth, raver, gamer, geek, hippie, and spinner. None of these labels quite fit my mentality.

I have been keeping very busy of late. Did my first public performance with my poi on New Years Eve down at First Night in boston. That was a neat experience.

But the majority of my winter has been in preparing for and finally performing in my first ever musical. I played Horse in Act Andover's performance of The Fully Monty. Now THAT was an experience.

Still working on moving to Boston and getting a new job down there. No prospects yet, so it looks like I'll be staying in NH for the time being. But I should be getting a new apartment in the next few months.

Listening. When I'm hanging out at parties and such, I have always been the type who listens to the conversations and waits to speak until I have a poignant statement to make. Perhaps a biting remark, or an astute observation, but far more often a witty comment. Once I've gotten to know someone a bit, I'm much more talkative one on one.

I also have a knack for remembering events and quotes that crack my friends and I up years later, and get a kick out of renewing the mirth with reminders of the past.

That I'm black and I have a goatee. That isn't entirly true, but it is what people first notice. I do have a goatee, but I am really mulato. I have an african-american father and a caucasian mother.

Books:
Reading is a favored pastime for me, though I don't rean nearly as much as I used to. My favorites are:

Movies: Hackers, Mall Rats, PCU, various Monty Python movies, Hudson Hawk, Spaceballs, History of the World Part I, Legend, Labyrinth, Fight Club, Star Wars, Clash of the Titans, Empire Records, The Evil Dead Trilogy (Bruce Campbell is the MAN!!!), Sneakers, Harold & Kumar go to White Castle, The Fifth Element, The Hunt for Red October, Big Trouble in Little China.

I watch pretty much zero tv these days. I prefer to stream anime instead.
Anime/animated: Trigun, Outlaw Star, Ninja Scroll, Bleach, Vampire Hunter D, Boondocks, Futurama.

Music: Music plays a surprisingly large role in my life. I'm pretty much always listening to something, and it's a rather eclectic mix. Dave Matthews Band, The Everyday Visuals, Death Cab for Cutie, Snow Patrol, Vegas Temper, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Incubus, 30 Seconds to Mars, Disturbed, Sevendust, Eve 6, Infected Mushroom, VNV Nation, Panic! at the Disco, The Cranberries Loreena McKennett, Silversun Pickups...the list goes on and on.

Recently I have been listening to a lot of Electronica, especially psytrance. Ambient can be a nice touch, depending on my mood.

Love, music, books, computer, good friends & family, and laughter.

Giving alot of thought to taking classes again.

Chances are pretty high that I will be out at a club dancing.

One of these days I will get a tattoo.
