Been in the Bay for a little over a year now and so far I've learned:
1. Taking the Bart is awesome, but try not to get cornered by the homeless/crazies
2.OAKLAND GETS ROUGH, but has some of the stranges places at night (in a good way) >see Awaken Cafebr />
3. The cyclists in Alameda are very competitive. Ask me about the time one of them followed me home and started an argument.

////////////////////////////////////////
I am originally from flat boring corn growing Ohio, so coming out to CA and seeing all these mountains and makes me want to get out and hike/climb/crawl (if I have to) all the way to the top. So I want to find a girl that isn't afraid of being (just a tiny bit) lost. I am way overdue on learning how to Surf and I make it a point to see nearly every movie that comes out in theaters, including the terrible ones. I read everything I can get my hands on, Knowing why the number 42 is important will get you bonus points in my book. I have just recently joined the Coast Guard and am still trying to find my way in the service. I am all about originality; I guarantee that I am unlike anyone you've met before. Whether or not that’s a good thing… we will have to wait and see.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Putting on some miles, so far I've made it 8300 miles from home and I'm always looking to go further. I work as an Operations Specialist for the United Sates Coast Guard, essentially we are the voice to the community from the Coast Guard. We also handle all the unit to unit tactical data and message traffic. My work with the Coast Guard has made it possible for me to travel more than I ever. So, I want to meet someone who isn't afraid of change. Lets go exploring together!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading books, people and situations

Passionately explaining the plot of movies.
(For some reason I really get a kick out this) I once talked about the first 10 minuets of Star Trek (the remake) for over a half hour

I love playing games and I'm a very competitive person
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My laugh
(So loud)
Trading amusing stories with people is one of my favorite pass times, I have been known to get into conversations about the most random topics with people I hardly know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Late Night Conversation
2. My iPhone
3. The smell of the Fall season
4. The lights of a nearby city
5. Internets
6. Music to dance to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

How to get there
Who to take with me
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Because of my work none of my Fridays are "typical"
BUT
I enjoy getting dressed up and hitting those sweet spots that every town has
Oregon District (Dayton)
Ybor City (Tampa)
Gaslamp Quarter (San Diego)
Pleasure Island, before they made it all family friendly (Orlando)
Tumon (Guam)
North Beach (San Francisco)

However there is nothing quite like a First Fridays in china town (Honolulu)
UPDATE: as it turns out Oakland had a First Fridays celebration as well, but its a whole different sort of Crazy over there.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Video exists of me singing "call me maybe"
...completely sober
