Trying to live life with integrity, honesty and meaning are
important to me, as is making the most of every day. I have an
introspective side which means I can be alone but I also thrive on
conversation and interaction. I admire courage in people, I respect
those that can understand the importance of testing their
boundaries acknowledging their fears and pushing on anyway. I find
loyalty to be a most attractive quality. I love to laugh, I love my
family and I love to eat good food. I admire people who have
passion and commitment and pursue their interests with vigour. I
like to squeeze my toes in the sand, listen to the rhythmic sounds
of water, look up to the stars regularly and wonder at the bigness
of it all.
I am revelling in the new found freedom my career change has
afforded me it has set me on a course of profound understanding and
meaningful purpose. It has taught me to focus on what can be not
what can't be. That kind of thinking set me free.
What I’m doing with my life
I completed my qualification in Eastern medicine, Shiatsu to be specific three years ago and am now in clinical practice. Returning to study invigorated my life no end, empowered me and in doing so set me free of the limitations I found creeping into my life. I am excited about my new career which measures its worth in helping people, it feels like honest money.
I practice Kyudo (Japanese Archery) and find it is the most challenging thing I have ever done and one of the most rewarding.
I love hanging out with my little nephews, playing lego and having backyard adventures.
