My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hufflepuff/Slytherin. Fannibal. Mythbuster. Ms. Frizzle Wanna-Be. Introverted People Person. Grey-Asexual. Kinky. Resident Know-it-All. Shakespeare lover. Insomniac. Secret Southerner. Musician. Internet Addict.

Friends first, everything else second.

My virtue is Charity, and my vice is Sloth.
My Love Attitude is Storge.
I'm an INFJ.
I'm silly and serious and a bit of a space cadet.
I'm cuddly and affectionate.
I love to learn things, any things. And then tell you all about them.
I love to listen to people talk about subjects they love, and then have long debates and discussions about it.
I like puzzles, physical problem solving (building stuff when you don't actually have the proper tools at hand!), and playing on jungle gyms.
I like to watch movies and TV as an activity, and babble about camera angles and microexpressions.
I like to build myself nests out of blankets and pillows and sit in them all day on the computer.
I like serious, passionate discussions about social justice and world issues.
I secretly love all of the horrible puns my mentors and friends make.
I'm a nerd and a geek and occasionally a dork.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Walking dogs/visiting puppies all the livelong day.
Cuddling and instagramming photos of all five cats.
Biding my time until returning to school for Sociolinguistics (hopefully).
Doing jigsaw puzzles while drinking wine.
Going to museums and zoos when I can get someone to go with me.
Trying to catch up on a lifetime of culturally significant film (I didn't have a TV as kid, and I didn't bother watching it much in High school).
Reading, reading, reading. Reading.

Cheering on and living vicariously through friends of mine who have slightly more exciting lives.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procrastinating, gushing about the doggies I walk, being outside, cleaning (but not my own bedroom), listening to people, being a know-it-all, talking, being compassionate, compromising, moderating disagreements, calling people out, taking care of people, puzzles, physical problem solving, teaching people about social justice issues, Googlefu, Abusing parentheses (because making snarky and/or informative asides is my favourite), consistently using oxford commas, and getting super excited about little things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People tend to comment on my abnormally tiny hands a lot. I've also been told that with my hair long and down, I look like a Renaissance painting.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Languages. Ethics. Academics. Popular culture, social dynamics and how those affect our lives. Sociolinguistics. My cello, choir, and music in general. Fanfiction and Fandom. Tumblr. Kink and its infinite possibilities. What I want out of my education and my life in general. All the awesome books I need to read. How fucking awesome science is. How I would execute a long-term wilderness-survival situation. Dogs and puppies. Whether or not I can get away with not doing laundry for one more day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Uploading all the pictures I took while walking doggies that day. Reading. Discussing a SJ and/or complex moral issues with a friend. Watching one of my favourite shows on my computer (and screaming about the subtleties of characterization and cinematography on tumblr). Playing neopets. Indulging in fanfiction (Anyone want to talk Johnlock, Snarry, Hannigram, or Doctor/Rose Tyler with me? Let us squee together about our OTPs!). Snuggling with the cats.

((It's a very exciting, extroverted life I lead, obviously.))
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get really nervous about messaging people. I'm working on taking the initiative, though!

ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety are the arch-enemies that invade my brain and require me to fight brain wars occasionally.

Half of me wants to have a career in non for profit/charity advertising and to travel around the world helping nfp's better share their message. The other half wants to be a stay at home homeschooling mom with three large dogs and a smattering of cats. I'm still not sure how I'm going to satisfy both halves.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to get together to drink wine/tea/coffee and get excited about substantive topics.

We have 80% or greater match.

You happen to be a 6'5" or taller med student/doctor. What can I say, I have a type.

You want to cuddle on the couch while watching Metropolis or a Hitchcock marathon.

You'd like to go with me to the zoo, a museum, a music concert (of most any genre, but I have a special fondness for classical, ethnic, and jazz), or theatre (especially of the shakespearean variety, and/or involving puppetry).

You have something intelligent, interesting, and participatory to ask or discuss with me. Let me know you've actually looked at my profile.

You want to drive out into the middle of nowhere and tell me stories about the constellations. You can make them up if you don't know any, I don't mind.

You're at home with the geeky, the nerdy, and the unusual.
