I am an average guy that likes the simple and good things in life. The development of my career has been the main focus of my life over the last several years and I have forgotten how to have fun, my work has been my mistress and I have completely neglected to find a healthy balance. Now that I have achieved everything I wanted to and I look back I ask myself now what? What is next? I can see that there is no-one I can share my success with; sure I have had my fair share of gold-diggers but nothing real….

I have taken a small work sabbatical, as both my parents have been ill. Currently self-employed while looking for new permanent employment in the IT sector.

Anything as long as I enjoy it!

....anything technical, other than that I am a very good listener and a master in reading between the lines.

Some of my hobbies are photography, reading &
watching movies/TV series, gardening (don't really have a
green thumb); I enjoy going shopping and spending time by the
beach watching the waves; I also love to listen to music.

Reading:
My favourite Author's are Clive Cussler, Wilbur Smith and
Alexander Kent. Clive Cussler & Wilbur Smith books are fast
paste thriller/action/romance stories. Alexander Kent books are
completely different; they are historical fiction and based on the
age of sail where people explored the world with wooden ships
without technology just with plain and simple human
ingenuity.

Movies/TV series:
I really like my Sci-fi but the old classics like Macgyver,
Airwolf, Knight Rider, SeaQuest, X-files,
StarTrek are really cool but the more newer series like
NCIS (love them), Criminal Minds, Lost, Stargate SG1
& Atlantis, House and Grey's Anatomy are some of the
regular shows I watch. I have a movie collection, there are just
too many to list but The Fugitive, I love all the Grumpy old
Men movies, The Cutting Edge, Avatar, August Rush,
Smurfs, Prince of Persia, Abduction, Australia,
Lean on me, Notting Hill and Anger Management are just
a few of my favourites, there are many more.

Music:
I like many/different kinds of music, I am not a fan of jazz, rap
and heavy metal but I really don't like Boeremusik (our cats leave
the room when Boeremusik is played, I mean that says it all). I
like Andrea Bocelli, Andre Rieu, anything from Enigma,
Sash and Gregorians, I love classical music and my
favourite composer is Tchaikovsky & Bach. On a more
modern side I like house, trance, dance and my favourite DJ is
Tiesto (his music lets me dream).

The meaning of life, the future and how things work.
I have so many interests and I spend a lot of time online researching new trends and even design new products.

Happy to go home and spend some time relaxing with family and friends.....watch a movie or read a good book.

I dream to find someone who I can share everything with, dreams, thoughts, feelings, etc (without being taken advantage off). I want to find someone with whom I can sit arm-in-arm just being there for each other; when not talking still knowing what the other is thinking or feeling....
