*My earliest childhood memory is of me nearly falling out an open car door, and onto the New Jersey Turnpike. My Mom pulled me back in at the last second.

*I've never set foot inside a Walmart. (Update: I walked into the San Leandro store recently for the purpose of taking pictures for a photojournalism assignment.)
*I support all picket lines.
*I'm a good listener.
*People showing up late for scheduled appointments is one of my biggest pet peeves.
*I always leave the toilet seat down.
*One of the most romantic things that a man can do for his mate is to take out the trash.
*A bit of advice for parents of 3 kids who are relatively close in age: Pay close attention to the middle one. If you get the sense that s/he feels left out, set aside some time just for him/her. Do whatever it takes to help them find their own identity - whatever makes them unique. Then encourage it to the max.
*I find photos of OK Cupid members posing with small furry animals to be highly inappropriate.
*Libraries are still the best places to get an education.
