What I’m doing with my life
Trying to absorb as much information about the world and the people
in it as I can.
Unfortunately, knowing a lot of irrelevant (though highly
interesting) things about the world/people isn't a marketable
skill, so I'm taking classes at a community college. Next up is a
state school where I'll (hopefully) figure out what the heck I
really want to do with my life.
I’m really good at
turning casual conversation topics into serious inquiries.
listening.
being indecisive.
making grilled mozzarella cheese sandwiches.
getting (really really really) pissed off when people can't spell
and/or don't use proper grammar.
smiling. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
The tentacles.
After that, it's normally some aspect of my personality (depending
on the situation, this could be kindness, outspokenness,
individuality, eclectic interests, etc).
And while it may not be the first thing someone notices about me,
my voice tends to leave a lasting impression. I've been told I
should do books on tape.

My senses.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Myself. I'm highly introspective. Sometimes to a point where it's
detrimental to my mental health.
History. Specifically, cultures. I like comparing cultures,
internationally and/or over time.
People. Because they're so goddamn interesting.
The correct thing to do. When is it ok to interrupt a conversation?
What should I do with my hands during pictures? Should I have
mentioned Disney in that last conversation? What is the politically
correct term? etc etc etc.
The possibilities. Who doesn't? All the ifs in life manage to play
themselves out in my mind quite frequently, as I imagine they do
for every other human being on this planet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Right here, right now? ......I have an excessive amount of Disney
songs on my iPod. 78 songs to be exact.
I guess if you want something even MORE personal than that, you'll
have to message me.
You should message me if
you want to get to know me, if you have a great cultural insight
you'd like to share, if you found an old forgotten 14-century word
that ACTUALLY RHYMES with orange, or any reason you see
fitting.
You SHOULD NOT message me if: you're shirt and/or pants are on
fire. The appropriate action would be to stop, drop, and roll, then
call 911.
Or if you plan on asking "What do you do for fun?"
