My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not very skilled at writing these things. I always attempt to sound witty and intelligent and usually just end up sounding drunk. Basics then. Was in NYC for a few years. Moved back to PA last year because yuck too many people and not enough money. I'm still working on the whole being an adult thing. Case in point, I'm eating peanut butter out of the jar right now because I have no food in the house.

Let's see what else. I like to go out or stay in depending on my mood. Sometimes I'm shy, sometimes I'm ridiculous. I like to think I'm pretty laid back. I'm a big nerd too. I like The X-Files and scifi things and all sorts of other geeky stuff. In fact if you don't nerd out about something we probably won't get along. Or we will but I'll secretly be reciting Data's poem about Spot in my head the whole time we're together. That's not true. I don't actually have it memorized. Yet. I also like dogs and cats and turtles and elephants and doing nothing when I should be doing something.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Still trying to figure that out. I finished interning at Focus Features a couple years ago, that was pretty nifty. Now I'm in the glorious world of temping. It's not very impressive. But at least I have money to buy dog food. For my dog. I don't eat dog food. Well I haven't yet. Rambling. Sorry.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hmm. Making people laugh. I'm kind of a goof.
Music stuff (voice, guitar, piano, etc) - ex music major up in here.
Sometimes I draw stuff.
That Kevin Bacon game. I rock at dat shit.
Consuming an unhealthy amount of television.
You know that questions game from Whose Line is it Anyway? I am the reigning champion.
Reciting lines from Galaxy Quest.
Ok I'm gonna stop before I embarrass myself.
The first things people usually notice about me

Physically, I'm not quite sure. My mom always tells me I have a nice smile. Other than that, my friends often tell me that I'm quite the sweetheart.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Neil Gaiman, Chuck P. (Rant is my favorite), The Gargoyle, Tooth Fairy, House of Leaves (I love mindfucks) History of Love. Holes. Lots more. Been reading a lotta nonfiction lately - I'm on a bit of a neuropsychology kick.

Movies: Too many to count. First few that come to mind are In Bruges, Lost In Translation, and Secretary. And Eternal Sunshine. (Yay Focus!)

Music... lots and lots. My music tastes are a bit all over the place. I'm obsessed with movie scores. Pretty in love with Mumford and Sons. I'm totally digging Florence + The Machine right now too.

TV: Are you sure you're ready for this conversation.
Faves: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Battlestar Galactica, The X-Files, Six Feet Under, Sherlock, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Archer, TNG, Face Off, Cosmos, Hannibal, Orange is the New Black, In The Flesh, Cowboy Bebop, South Park, Futurama, Seinfeld, The Office, Louie, American Horror Story, Arrested Development, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Orphan Black (you should seriously watch this show it's awesome), stand-up comedy and yes I watch too much TV.

Food. Unagi don. Yum. And Pizza. And mac and cheese. I'm a girl with simple tastes.

And coffee. Always coffee.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My animal entourage, coffee and cigarettes, my sketchbook, wifi, fiction things, probably oxygen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If you melted dry ice could you swim without getting wet? Who would make their plants hard to reach? That seems so very mean. (Extra points for you if you can name where those two little tidbits of awesome come from.) Also I'm synesthestic and I think it's super neato.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Well, it used to be I'd chill with friends, hang out, watch movies, whatever. But my friends all decided to be assholes and moved away. And i tend to be a bit of a homebody. So lately? On tumblr with a glass of wine. Living the high life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Ummmm. I'm pretty much an open book. Really, I don't have much of a filter. I've never been in a lt relationship before. Does that count? It sounds a little scary but also kinda nice. Particularly the frequent sex and access to two different movie collections. Also I'm pretty sure I can only date introverts. Nothing against extroverts, but I'd just usually rather smoke a bowl, draw, watch movies and chill out than go out to a random bar. I'm one of those weird outgoing introverts. They exist I swear.
