My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
An old friend once likened me to the character Anna Karenina. I've since been contemplating how to properly respond to that.

The only god I fear is the Impartial Universe.

I am Clay, Sentiment, and Fire.
I harbor a penchant for the strange, the wonderful, and the wild.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Okay, dad…

What am I doing with my life? I am scrutinizing it, pulverizing it with a mallet and clay-working the pieces of myself; stretching my limits while feverishly scribbling equations. I'm just journeying to find a balance between head and heart.

I work in IT, plan to go back to school for engineering, and dream of being a DNR warden. My new summer hobbies are kayaking and bird-watching (have seen two Green Herons so far!) and I've been fishing and camping about every other weekend. I'm a member of the Urban Ecology Center which offers a ton of cool volunteer opportunities that I enjoy-- most recently catching and tagging local monarch butterflies to track their southward migration. It's like being a kid again, only instead of calling it "playing outside" it's called "volunteer work".
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
+ creative problem solving (I'm a person you'd want with you on a deserted island)

+ I've also proven to have exemplary skill in obtaining head injuries

“Know thyself," said Socrates.
"Know thyself," said Sappho, "and make sure that the Church never finds out.”

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have a music video you want to recommend to me (I've been sent some awesome stuff so far, so thank you!), an amusing comic or article to show me, or want to exchange Steam accounts.

If you feel marginally compelled? That's generally a good place to start! Especially considering I'm not usually the first to strike up a conversation. :)
