My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My life has been and will continue to be a fantastic adventure! I grew up in England, and my life has led my through many twists and turns to San Diego. I enjoy music, and art, and science all. I'm a geek in all aspects. I love music to a stupid level, I love science greatly, and I love philosophy. I'm a Violinist, a Buddhist, a Programmer and so many things, but most of all, I'm me, and I love it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it. I work hard and I play hard. I'm enjoying my music, finally having picked up my violin again. I like my job a lot, but it doesn't dominate me the way it used to. I love the outdoors, and traveling which I've been able to do more of lately. I've been cycling like a maniac, just complete my second 100mile ride in Palm Springs in February
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a quick study, I can pick up a couple of books on more or less anything and have a pretty good understanding quickly, though it's no substitute for experience.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a fairly quiet person until I get going. I have a good pair of legs, and a cute smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favourite books right now would be divided into two categories: Fiction and Non-Fiction. I'm finally reading Stranger in a Strange land by Heinlein, and on the other side, Coversations with God. In terms of long time favourites, Discworld, Asimov's Foundation series, the Kushiel and Namaah series, and so many others.

As for movies, I'm pretty easy to please, I like Sci-Fi, The Matrix, Serenity, Dune, fun stuff like Hot Fuzz, Ámelie, Shawn of the Dead, Kinky Boots, Up, Monsters Inc, Blazing Saddles, good martial arts movies like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero, fun things like Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Art and Foreign films are wonderful, I recall watching the Fall and just being floored at the beauty of it and I have a big soft spot for Miyazki. I like more documentary style things like Mongol as well, and nature or cultural documentaries like Wild China. I find it easy to suspend my disbelief, so I rarely have a bad time at the movies.

For music, I like everything from Telemann and Bach to Lady Gaga and Mumford & Sons, and much of what's in between. I enjoy classical music of most periods as well as jazz, blues, zydeco and contemporary popular music. I'm enjoying show tunes now too, and just found a new love for the Beetles. I enjoy music from all over the world, particularly Scandinavia it seems, Kate Havnevik, Jónsi, Björk. More musical artists particularly like Imogen Heap and Steve Vai. I like classic rock too, Tom Petty, Dance and Techno and House and Dubstep as well, Mord Fustang a current favourite. I just like music pretty much period.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Other than air and water: cuddles, friends, a good read, a beautiful sunset, and a hot spicy meal.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to live with more love and less fear.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
One of any number of things: out at the movies with friends, chatting about anything and everything over a cup of tea or coffee, coding, reading, video gaming, really just depends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmm, have to get back to you on this one.
