Well what should I say about myself? I was born and raised in Atlantic City. Recently back from Afghan land on my way to getting out of the Army and going to school. If I had to describe myself I would say that I am a pretty laid back kind of guy ( I know everyone says that, but seeing that I am literally laid back as I type this it is fitting), I am an enoromous geek and I am proud of it. I am the kind of guy that is open to different things and enjoys the company of other people. I am a gamer, an avid comic book enthuastist, a regular movie goer and sports fan (Go EAGLES, Phillies and Devils!) I think that I am a mature person, which I define as knowing the right time and place to be immature. I like going to the gym, hate running but I do it anyway, and I am looking forward to my plans that I have set out and the goals I intend to reach. I have been told that I have potential to be an amzing boyfriend to the girl that desires me someday. Maybe that'll be one of you lucky ladies?

I am about to finish my contract in the Active Army as a combat engineer. Currently applying to colleges to pursue computer engineering while I serve in the National Guard and hopefully get a job bartending part time (I figured bartending would be the best skillset if I am going to be in either Atlantic City, or a college town)

I am a jack-of-all trades but master of none. I would say that I'm really good at my favorite hobby of playing video games, also pretty good at word searches. I am good at keeping a conversation going if that really counts as a skill. Generally I don't suck at things that I do, but I am no olympian either. Also some things I have been told I am really good at are not appropriate for this first impression atmosphere, maybe a little later on those skills.

My glasses if I am wearing them, or my manner of speech. People are surprised when you are black and sound intelligent, go figure.

I like to read manga comic books and sci-fi and thriller books some of my favorite books include the Hunger Games, Neverwhere and American Gods( both works of the brilliant and talented Neil Gaimen). I've read all the Harry Potter books and some books based on video games, particularily theMass Effect, Halo, and Gears of War novels. Comic books I have read 100 Bullets, SIn CIty, Y:the Last Man, Sandman (another Neil Gaimen series), Preacher , the Walking Dead (current favorite) and multiple issues of mainstream superhero comics (favortie super heroes are Batman and Ironman, Bruce Wayne's gallery of friends and villians is the only mainline DC property that I respect and enjoy). If you want to know about the mangas I read just ask me, I feel as though I might have made this part too long.

Movies i watch a ton of some of my favorites are Starship Troopers, all of Kevin Smiths movies cuz they're in Jersey, the new Star Trek was pretty hot, the Star Wars saga, Taken, Inception, just recently saw Cloud Atlas and I thoroughly enjoyed it, looking forward to reading the book. Really like movies set in the past or future, acton comedy etc i watch tons of movies as i said. Also TWILIGHT SUX! Tru blood is good though... screw any series that says vampires sparkle like they're covered in glitter when they're in the sunlight

I've never run into anyone that doesnt like music. I am partial to HIp-Hop mostly but that doesnt keep me away from dub-step, House and electronica, rock (in all incarnations that I can understand the lyrics), jazz from time to time, R&B and Soul, my mainstay artist include lupe fiasco, childish gambino, gym class heroes, linkin park, the cool kids, jimi hendrix, skrillex, swedish mafia (after going to a Steven Angelo concert for News Year in NYC a couple years ago). Im pretty opened to what music I'll listen to and I am always looking for someone to put me on to something new.

Food i eat just about anything i do dislike seafood ( I like fish but not any crustaceans), mushrooms and coconut (not the taste the consistency) anything else is good after eating military food for over 4 years everything tastes good.

2. My Xbox 360 has been my faithful companion for 2 deployments and 4 yrs in the army, he is my cherished brother

Actually im working on a concept for a writing project, want it to be a graphic novel but i cant draw, so i either have to find an artist or make it in novel form... I actually have an Idea for an entire literary universe so im starting with this first thing then start from there. Also thinking abt where I want my life to go from here.

Getting ready to start the weekend right with the boys, it depends though. Sometimes its clubbin and the bar, other times its movie marathons, or whatever tickles our fancies and also gaming, straight gaming

I have a horrible singing voice but that doesnt keep me from wailing to some of my favorite songs in my room or while I am driving. I also love to cook, I used to be a fat kid so cooking was an essential skill. Sadly I thought Turkish Delights were a made up candy from the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

If you have any interest in the things I am interested in or questions. If you want someone to hang out with or just to talk. Although a relationship is the goal, I honestly do need to brush up on my skills talking to the opposite sex. I could alway use a platonic friend or two
