I have been in the military for 6 years, and I'll probably stay in for another 14. The retirement benefits are ridiculously good and the free health care really can't be beat. I love what I do and I am good at it, so why change it?
I am an adventurer, in many ways. I like to explore life. I like trying new things, meeting new people, etc. I have few social boundaries, so don't be surprised if I talk to you as if we have known each other for years the first time we meet. I'm ridiculously open, honest, and 100% comfortable with who I am and what I'm feeling at any given time.
I've been through a lot in this life, and it's left me with a certain comfort level in everything that happens. I don't get upset, and don't panic in crazy situations, and I don't let silly things get to me. There's just no point in that. I'm calm, cool, and collected when I need to be, but I prefer to be outrageous, energetic and lively the rest of the time :)
I believe that a little bit of perspective goes a long way, and if people just had a little of it in their lives, it would makes things way easier. Unfortunately, most people get lost in the herd.
