I was born near a mighty river and then carried by a stray wind across Illinois. I landed in a corn desert. Despite my environment, I turn out to be independent, clever and eccentric. At some point in time, I discovered an engineering university near my village. At the local watering hole a debate was held and the village elders were consulted. It was decided that I should attend this University. So, I packed up my haversack and got a job working in an Italian kitchen in the city. The aptly named University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign readily accepted me based on superficial and unsound evidence of my intellectual capabilities.

I'm obsessed with the concepts of knowledge and truth.

I'm applying for my PhD in engineering while finishing my BS. It consumes the majority of my time. The left over time is spent having fun on weekend adventures, travelling to Chicago and relaxing at home. My time is my most valuable possession.

Food: If you give it to me I will eat it. "So because thou art
lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my
mouth." Revolations 3:16. Not religious. Its just my second
favorite bible quote. If you poison me I will die. I really enjoy
cooking in big groups. I have been trying to eat vegetarian food but it's very difficult with chefs for friends. My favorite
ingredients are eggplant, spinach, mushrooms and peas. I really enjoy my local bakery Mirabelle's Holla. They make wonderful bread and yummy breakfast treats.

TV: I try not to watch television too much. Most shows are
unintelligible and formulaic. I enjoy the crude humor of Archer. I watch The Daily Show and Colbert Report. I use to love house, until it ended. ALSO!! I love Dr.Who. I am currently watching every episode ever made.

Radio: I listen to NPR in the mornings and on the weekends. I
really enjoy "This American Life".
